Anyone else found in the last 1-2 weeks before you are due you just are EXHAUSTED? Cannot seem to function without naps, barely leaving the sofa and walking/ etc just feels too much effort. Need to take my son out later but the idea of driving even seems too much. Maybe I just need a kick up the bum!

Scarlet YES!! I just carried washing upstairs and had to sit down for a breather, I feel gross as I had all intentions for daily walks and exercise but by the time I have done a few tasks for the day I am ready for a sit down. It doesn't help as I just cannot get to sleep, I am so comfy in bed but I just can't 'drop off'!

KScarlet I feel like that now @ 33 weeks (I do have CFS/ME though so not a fair comparison )

ETA: Team Lowe, good point about the lighter sleeping. The lighter the sleep, the worse my condition symptoms (and my conditions already mean I don't get the right cycles of sleep to begin with) :cool:

This is why I get annoyed when people make comments about me getting 'panicky' about getting the baby stuff sorted! I'm not panicky, I'm quite calm thanks! I just know I'm gonna be good for nothing very soon and need/would like it done first...

Phew glad im not alone! Although *hugs* to others suffering xx last pregnancy I managed to walk miles everyday but I think the spd/ back problems and like you Finch the lack of sleep is just too much I'm glad I followed Angels advise and got all of the washing out of the way!

Nap Central here! I try to nap in the morning as I feel like crap when I wake if I nap in the afternoon.

Hopefully I can nap tomorrow, don't think my son would be safe if I left him while I slept. Knowing him the worst he would do is raid my make up though!

Hello everyone...

Congrats on all the new babies.

Time is flying by. My little girl is coming up for 7 weeks old on Sunday :eek:, cannot believe how quick it's gone. Though in the 1st few weeks it didn't feel like that, hahaha. But once I felt better and got my head round being a mum etc it all fell into place.

Time certainly does fly by ladies, so enjoy and capture every moment. It's what I did on Monday as was her 6 week check and she weighed 9lb 3.5oz, she was predicted to weigh 9lb 6oz at birth but was a tiny 6lb 8oz.

So I decided to put her in the same outfit she wore at 4 days old when we were finally home so I could compare and it's unreal the difference.

Good luck Amy, fingers crossed things get moving for you. Have you gone for a walk or some late night shopping? My sister swears by going shopping, she did it for both of hers.


Off to NCT class tonight, we missed last weeks so looking forward to todays. Had my last day in the office today, now I'm just working from home until the end of Wednesday but most of my work is handed over now yay. Was quite a weird feeling though as it was a client site, took in chocs though which went down well
