Mrs Bunny have you tried things like hot honey+lemon? Or inhaling steam with menthol crystals in?
Eta: I'm sure I read somewhere that taking vitamin c every 2 hours, along with plenty of coast fluids, was key to getting rid of colds etc. Hope you feel better soon. :)

Thanks bigzippy I think I will be send DH out in abit as haven't got any lemon in. Hate feeling poorly, didn't sleep well either last night, baby keeping me awake tumbling around. Lots of rest on the sofa today I think. Xx

Morning all, off to the Cardiff office for the last time today :D canne wait! I'm going to pop into Mr M to pick up a tub of chocs or cakes or something to take in with me :)

The new furniture is giving my nose a hard time, I think it's the varnish used grr.

Thanks for all the advice re: reusables everyone, I shall try some of the drying techniques and very tempted to get an electric airer. I've been told they get things dry quicker if you pop a sheet over the top of them to insulate. Best get a wriggle on, little one is definitely all knees and elbows today too.

Taking all your good advice today and staying in bed for the morning on my day off! Other options for today are: Xmas shopping online, bit of cleaning, ironing in front of a movie, baking a cake, passport application, look up somewhere nice for lunch Saturday - I'm going to the theatre with my auntie in London so want a pre-matinee lunch in theatre land/ covent garden. Won't get all my jobs done but if I do some of it that will be good, and will take it easy too!

Thanks for your advice Kerri on hypnobirthing cd, I knew someone had been on a course and might step in with advice! :)

Hope the sickies feel better soon! X

fran - you can download the tracks from the web as well. Also breathing techniques as follows:Calming breathe to get you to relax:- deep count of 4 in, count of 8 out slowly
Surges breathe (for when you're having a contraction): deep count of 20 in quickly (2 counts a second), count 20 quickly out
Birthing breathe: short sharp breathe in, long directed breathe out in a J shape (feels almost like pushing but is definitely different, we were told do NOT push as you can tear but work with the breathe to breath baby out).

    TMI alert!
I tried the surges breathe during the perrenial massage yesterday and it really does help to get you nice and relaxed, I'm not sore at all today and have been the day after the other two times we've tried it without breathing exercise.

Morning! My hormone-induced misery yesterday afternoon lasted all night. :o On top of the fact that my back, legs, bum and bump were all aching I was a total mess by the time OH got home at 10! Had a bath which helped whilst I was in there but as soon as I got out everything started to hurt again... I guess the answer is to live in the bath?! :p

Hugs for feeling rotten too BZ. Hope a couple of days of rest will help you to get back on your feet. I've been getting really frustrated as there's so much I feel like I should be doing but it's just not possible, but I guess we're doing enough hard work?! :)

Jox, I decided that I'd do my bit and buy a Mooncup- 2 days before I got my BFP! :rotfl: At least the intention was there! Hope the fibroid is behaving and baby isn't fighting for space. :)

OH ordered our baby monitor yesterday, not sure which one he ordered (just told me he'd done it! :p) but I think it's a Motorola video one? I guess I'll find out in a few days when it arrives! Getting there with what we need now, just need to stock up on stuff like nappies such like.

I'm sure your hair looks lovely TL! :)
