Vic you are definitely not huge
I'm jealous of all you ladies getting comments, I went to the supermarket and noone even battered an eyelid as I don't look at all pregnant in my coat.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I've got bumg3n1us e1ementals AIO for their absorbancy and because I have sensitive skin so does Daddy, we wanted cotton ones. Just been looking at getting a bidet shower fitted to the loo to help wash them off, not sure if it's really necessary or not though.
Amy - hope the reflexology kicks things off for you
Sorry to gatecrash but I use cloth fulltime. I love my BG! I hang mine to dry over the radiator so they are not in direct contact with the heat which can affect the PUL. Like thisPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

That's the problem kerri. People keep telling me I'm not as big as I should be. I think it's because I'm quite tall and a size 14 anyway.DS born November 2013 :smileyhea0

Thanks penguin that's a really good idea, I might steal it
Vic - I think people forget how big pregnant women are and that we're varying sizes anyway. The furniture men said I didn't look pregnant today, I was wearing a boys 12-13 hoody from G4P and you can't tell unless I turn sideways lol.
This was me last week, although wearing OH's t-shirt so I look bigger than I am because I was decorating and it's mahoosive!:Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Vic I'm doing well (I think!) How about you? Your bump looks great and firm! I think I have a long wait ahead, although someone just mentioned clary sage so off to google that. I've been on the ball each day and now in 6 raspberry leaf capsules for the final* week!
* as in to week 400 -
I'm good thanks. My tummy is a bit too firm...DH is banned from touching around my belly button as it is so sore it feels like it's going to explode! It's still an innie though.
I haven't got a ball and am not drinking any raspberry tea. Should I be? Sorry, clueless Vic is back! Xx
Oh, major development here...my hospital bags are packed and ready to go!!!
(Sorry if I alarmed anyone with how trivial this development is!)DS born November 2013 :smileyhea0 -
vic3 I'm due on Thurs and people sound shocked when I just casually say "Thursday" when they ask when I'm due. It makes me laugh should I sound more anxious?!? I've got a ball, been drinking rlt (keep forgetting though!) and I have some rlt capsules (also keep forgetting to take these!!) You can drink it/take capsules, but its not obligatory
I used to use reusables full time on my 20 mth old, but we found she was weeing like a racehorse at night so we use one disposable at night. I was super boosting and she had the biggest bum- like J-Lo!!!
We have loads of different ones, Bumgenius, Totsbots easyfits/flexitots/bamboozles, Blingbotz, Baba and boo, Bambino Mio solo, Real Easy, Itti... I think that is all of them?!?! I sound like a crazy nappy lady! I have to say my favourites are Baba and Boo pocket nappies.
I'm not as crazy as the ladies who buy customs and work at home mum nappies someof them spend thousands on their stashes.
I hang mine out on an airer or on the washing line, I sometimes put the inserts on the radiator or in the tumble dryer if I'm doing clothes and have some spare room. You shouldn't regularly tumble aio nappies as it can shorten the life of the waterproof material.
I've bought a few newborn nappies to use lil joeys, totsbots teenyfits and a few bumgenius xs, a couple are on DD1's dolls atmGot married 13/11/10

De-lurking.
The new style Bumgenius elementals are brilliant for absorbency but unfortunately they do take a little bit longer to dry, tends to the case, the nappies which dry quicker aren't as absorbent.
Definitely for a newborn 2 parters will be better, as they have double protection for containment.
The elementals are brilliant though, so if they don't work right away don't panic, baby maybe just needs to grow slightly and/or stop having such liquidy poo
God there's a phrase you never thought you'd say.

To be honest I'm just doing what my friend did, as i have no clue. The ball is the only way I can get comfy as my ribs get a battering and as for the tea capsules I read somewhere it 'can' help with muscles/pushing stage but who knows!!
I must sort out a bag, I'm sure I have everything but it's not together, tomorrow's task.0 -
Ooh which ball do you have?DS born November 2013 :smileyhea0
