I thought that when Ds was older our amount of washing would go down kerri_dfw but somehow I still seem to have the m/c on most days!
Re BF: if you google "breastfeeding counselors in...." and put in your area the NCT page should come up with your local ones which I can't recommend enough. They're free and without my local one's help I would have given up at 3 days, 4 weeks and 6 weeks without their help as I didn't find it easy.
Then at 6 months i was grumpy because Ds wouldn't take a bottle! :rotfl: I'm just never happy
Only 30mins till home time! :beer:Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
Phase 1 - Emergency Fund - Complete :j
Phase 2 - £20,000 Mortgage Fund - Underway0 -
I'm also planning to use cloth nappies Kerri and have a mix of Tots Bots and Bambino Mio.... helpfully my washer dryer has just decided to pack up though :rotfl: It's always at the most helpful times!0

We're planning on using reusables (although maybe not straight away!) and have got one Tots Bots and one Bambino Mio so far. I really don't like the thought of using my tumble drier a lot though so we will see.First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140

Congratulations miffy - thank you for coming back to update - I do worry when some of the regular posters don't come back after for a while (even if you are a little busy :rotfl:)
Birdie - that's rubbish about the midwife not being there! Altho I think sometimes if they have a home birth in our area they can sometimes close the clinic. Its never happened when I have had an appointment tho.
Teamlowe - yay for being brave :T I keep wondering what to do with my hair - its at that awkward stage where its neither long nor short and I don't know what to do about it
Amy85 - hope you enjoy your reflexology. If your contractions aren't regular that its more likely to be Braxton hicks. I've been having them for about 6 weeks now - some are quite painfulI like to think that they will be doing something to either thin out the cervix or perhaps strengthen things ready for the real deal starting. It makes me feel better about being in pain :rotfl:
I had about 8 hours sleep last night :j It was in 2 sessions - but it was a big help after having 4-5 hours maximum for the previous 4 nights! The pressure seems to be easing a little round my nose and eyes - so fingers crossed the antibiotics are doing their stuff. I managed to wash my hair and do the very short walk for the school run today but I must say I'm wiped out nowLooking forward to DH coming home to look after me!
Am feeling a bit meh about it being my due date. I have tried very hard not to focus on it - but DH has been insistant that they don't give you a date if it doesn't mean something and he genuinely thought it would come today. Think I am just generally a little fed up tho what with being under the weather...
Theres some good offers on maternity clothes here if anyone needs any? http://www.pumpkinpatch.co.uk/baby/maternity/ And if you use code UKPRSC3 then you get an extra 20% off and free delivery. I've been buying DD some new clothes - must stop being poorly tho as DD has been a little spoilt these last couple of days :rotfl:

Oh we are going to use reusable nappies and I have a mix of:
Dotty Bots
Little Lambs
Tots Bots
Bambino Mio
Not washed them to prep them yet but we have a tumble dryer, pulley, outside and inside drying space so happy to experiment with the best way to dry themI also have some disposable for the first couple of weeks while I heal from the labour and get myself in order.
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Glad you're feeling better abis, very jealous of your 8 hours!
I'm T-6 days, had my hair cut and coloured today so feel much better, booked in for reflexology on Friday and working through my odd job list!
The pumpkin patch sale I got the fluffy bear pramsuit for less than £8 delivered.0 -
Happy due date abi! Very jealous of your 8 hour sleep too!
Nice to hear from you again finch. Your due date is a few days before mine. How are you feeling?

Just a little rant...
I wish people would stop asking me when my due date is and then saying 'oh that's ages away'
Like what, I've deliberately chosen to have a longer pregnancy?? My due date is unsatisfactory in some way???
I can only think the implication is that I'm already huge so no one can believe I've got that long to go.

Awww TL, it's rubbish when people decide to comment on the bump - what do they expect you to do about it? Just ignore them, they're just trying to think of some way of making a 'relevant' comment and hitting on something obvious but annoying :grouphug:
I've been pretty similar in that people have presumed I'm close to due date from about 28 weeks  Waddling into shops at 34 weeks now causes a lot of panicked expressions and raised eyebrows :rotfl:
Just hold your head high - big or small, you're growing a baby in that bump, don't they know how clever you're being?0 -
