I meant to add - I've been going to pregnancy yoga for the last few weeks and it's been fantastic!! I've been going to YogaBellies in my local leisure centre. Now, I've never been to yoga before, I have a long list of problems with my legs (LONG list!) and I can't bend my right knee but it has been so relaxing and my yoga instructor has been very supportive with helping me. She's actually due 3 weeks after me so I'm looking forward to joining her for baby yoga after the summer!

    Good morning :)

Girlzmum - sounds like a lovely day. Hope the tractor ride wasn't too bumpy for you!

fluffysox - I too would love to go to some pregnancy class but just don't have the time with my toddler. Plus she's being super clingy at the moment, so can't really leave her - not even with DH :( Oh well, maybe one day soon. I'll have a look to see what's on in the area. Maybe in the evenings, when she's gone to bed!

Toothfairy - Urgh - heartburn. I had it terribly in my last pregnancy. You have my sympathies. I used to get Gaviscon on prescription. Amazing stuff!

Pigpen - Did you decide whether or not to take a hospital bag on your trip to MIL?!

Afm, not too much. Need to pop into University this morning to tie up a few loose ends. And then a bit of playtime in the garden I think. I love second trimester energy - I'm getting loads done. Hope everyone is enjoying the sunny weather.

I've been doing a yoga, stretch & relax class too. It's an NCT class about 5 mins from my house - so it seems a shame not to try it.

It's an easy session & as we are doing the exercises the instructor talks through if it is a position which will help in labour or if it's a posture you should be adopting during pg etc. At the end of the session we have a drink & chat for about 20 mins on something about labour - I have learnt alot! TBH it's just nice to have a chat & be able to ask questions (most of which I didn't even know the questions, never mind the answers before I started).

Next week all the ladies who have recently had their babies are coming to visit (hopefully with babies), before the class which should be good.

    Morning Ladies

I don't know what is going on with me, had sweep on Tuesday at 2pm and had small amount of normal bleeding from that, then had just mucus like discharge (Sorry TMI!) then after a walk that evening I had more discharge but slightly streaked with blood.
Period like cramps started on Tuesday night but weren't really painful or regular. Last night the cramps got worse, still feeling like period pains but a lot worse, for about an hour and a half they were coming every 8ish minutes lasting for 30ish seconds then I went to bed and just woke up every couple of hours with a pain.

Is this the start of labour? Is it all due to my stretch and sweep? Should I be worried?

Sorry for the long post but I'm just not sure what's happening!

I appear not to have posted again for a week or so. I keeps meaning to then something comes up.

I'm in a bit of discomfort (mild pain) this morning and I don't know if it's normal. Baby has been diagonal with it's head towards my bladder for about six weeks now, but last night in bed it was if it had pushed it's head right in. Now this morning I've got period like pains accross the bottom of my bump and lots of flicking every couple of seconds coming from inside. Also I can't lean forwards even slightly today so I guess I've got to rearrange my desk and move everythign forwards. It's very uncomfortable and making me wince if I try and move too quickly.

Sounds like the start of labour to me. I would give the maternity unit or your midwife a call, if anything because of the streaky blood. When I lost my plug, I went into labour the next day. Good luck x

I'm not taking it.. I'm too stubborn to have the baby this weekend and leave the girls with his incompetent fussy fanny drama queen family.

If your temp is fine then I'd suggest it is all normal and if it is the start of labour you will know soon enough.

Pointless worrying when you have no idea what's going on!

Nutshell.. that just sounds like the baby has hiccups!

Oooh that would be cute if I wasn't so blooming uncomfortable. I am guessing that it is trying to straighten up and move more into position too!! Re arranged my desk now so hopefully I can get comfortable in a bit.
