I've been having cramps this morning since I got up but not regular, it's like period pains but worse and a few times has actually made me stop and want to hold my bump!
Bleeding has stopped but I've had what I think is a show
I really do hope this is going to progress and not come to nothing!

Sounds good Nikki - fingers crossed!
Struggling to believe that I finish work in a week and a half! I was on the DFW board there and about to sign up to "Take your lunch to work in July" and realised I'm not here for most of it!
I've just eat 4 slices of bread worth of sandwiches though, plus 2 for my breakfast. I can't get enough of ham sandwiches at the moment - how boring!!My Debt Free Diary

I did read the instructions, but my laptop won't let me copy the due dates list (broken touchpad and such!) but I'm a first timer due on 14th November 2013.
I was hoping someone might be able to help. I currently go to aquanatal classes in Ipswich (they are brilliant, I love it!) and I am moving to Southend in a few weeks. I have tried searching the internet, with no luck, for aquanatal classes in the Southend area.
Does anyone know of any aquanatal classes in the Southend area? Please?
xxx
 Hiya. I live in Southend and have had no luck finding aquanatal classes unfortunately. I'm a member of a leisure centre (Garon's Park) where they do aqua-aerobics and they told me that the shallow version should be safe in pregnancy, but the receptionist was not 100% sure and I haven't tried it. It has a lovely big pool though, so I tend to just go for a swim and do laps.
There is a David Lloyd Leisure nearby too where they do preggy Yoga, but have not heard if they do aquanatal as I am not a member, but it might be worth looking into.
Good luck with the move - Southend is lovely, have you lived in Essex before?
fingers crossed for you nikki.
My changing bag has been dispatched - so excited! wasn't going to get a pretty one, was planning on using the Boots free one, but I haven't bought myself a new handbag in ages and I happened to see a lovely changing bag in a sale which is the right colours to go with my pram!! Teehee!0 -
Hello!
I'm 24+5 and joining the big scary pregnancy thread!
I just wondered if anyone else had to ask for a 'Fit-to-Fly' letter whilst being pregnant?
I asked my midwife about it and she directed me to the receptionist... who said I had to apply in writing to my GP, who would take up to 2 weeks to reply and would charge a fee - the amount of which they'd tell me after I'd requested the letter...
Seems odd to me that - my GP will say I'm fit-to-fly, without seeing me and my midwife said she had nothing to do with it.
Also seems odd that I won't know the fee until I request the details... Has anyone else been charged so I know a ball-park figure?
Thanks!0 -

I was advised the same as you, midwife wouldn't do it, GP would but would take 2 weeks. I was told it would cost £25.
Then I had to change GP as moved across the country, asked at new surgery, receptionist made me an appt with GP who signed the form for free, no problems. The airline didn't even ask for it!0 -

I flew with Ryanair at 29 weeks and was told originally that it'd be the midwife, then the GP, then maternity assessment (!!!!!!?), then the GP and finally the midwife signed it no questions asked.
I didn't get asked for it on the way out but did on the way back so it's definately worth having. My Debt Free Diary

I think its £20 here. Do you definitiely need a fit to fly letter. I flew Ryan air last week and don't think they needed one until 29 weeks. I'm debating a trip to France in Sep when I'll be 34 weeks so will need a letter then - but my MW said she would be happy to sign.
Good luck NikkiAnn - hope baby makes an appearance soon.
Hi all
Holy moly - how did I get to 6 months pregnant already! Time is flying by and I really, really need to get sorted for this baby. Don't know what my anterior placenta is doing but my baby is a kicking like crazy whenever I sit down for a rest! I'm loving this hot weather and I highly recommend maternity shorts - they really are the best thing since sliced bread
I've said it on the previous two threads, but I will try an dpost here more. I keep thinking I will have more time and I don't - DD is keeping me far too busy!
