I had to get new nursing bras yesterday. They look huge but there's room for a breast pad and a bit of growing space. I've got a starter pack of formula, just in case. I'm just going to wear leggings when I get out. I doubt that I will care what I look like!DS born November 2013 :smileyhea0

I'm thinking leggings and a long top. I'm only undecided as I'm down to about 2/3 pairs of trousers that actually fit and all my tops are getting too short! Can't do up my coat at all! All baby washing done! Just need my boy to get well and we are readyTrying to save for a deposit

Oh Kerri, I'm quite emotional at the moment too. I'm so excited to meet my baby, but so scared I won't love her as much as I love DD. DD is the most amazing, funny and clever little girl... I'm sure this little one will be too, but I'm just frightened. It doesn't help that everyone is always telling me what an "easy" and "laid back" child DD is - I find looking after her exhausting sometimes! What happens if I get a "difficult" or "demanding" baby this time around?! But then I think - they don't really mean "easy" or "laid back" - they mean happy and bright. She didn't sleep through (11pm-6am) until 10 months, she would only settle on the breast for the first 5 months, she never accepted a bottle, she was crawling at 5 months (!!) so high maintenance in that way too... We just went with the flow as we will do this time. Woe betide the next person who says "You won't know what's hit you!"
Vic3 hope you have packed the hospital bag today!
KScarlet ... I have renamed my dressing gown a "housecoat" and wear it anytime I'm in the house!0 -
Lol @ housecoat!! I'm anxious about having 2 LOs also
I'm so close to my son, it's felt like our world has revolved around him so I am anxious about adding another child to the mix! I'm kinda hoping this baby fits into our lives rather than my son where everything revolved around him with him being our first. DH keeps saying how lucky we were with how easy my son was- he had colic, allergies, eczema, asthma and any illness going, I suppose it seemed easy to DH while he was working away! I hope my son adapts to having a little sister and she sleeps lol! Xx I am sure you will love your girls equally, you will probably find they are slightly different but both have qualities you love x
Vic shhh don't say that!! It was only a few days since we left the 12 week group surely?! We still can't decide on names! XTrying to save for a deposit

Afternoon Ladies,
I know it's not the same but my niece is an absolute dream so I'm worried my husband has been lulled into a false sense of security about how easy babies are and everything in our family at the minute revolves around her, we all adore her, so I'm worried that my daughter won't be as loved :S
My hormones seem to have taken me in a different direction atm, I'm really really really in love with my husband. don't know why but suddenly it's like i've just met him again and want to be close to him all the time, miss him when i'm at work etc. you'd think after 5.5 years together I'd be sick of the beggar lol
I'm sooo jealous of the nearly due ladies! feel like i've been pregnant forever and there's still another 11 weeks til my due date! I'm not naturally a patient person if you can't tell lolLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Ahhh I've been getting the in love with hubby stuff too TL! When he comes home on a night I follow him around like a puppy, just smiling at him and giving him random hugs because I feel like it! :rotfl:
I hope that my DS won't be as bad as my nephew, we all love him to bits (he's lucky that he's a really good looking baby!) but he's really hard work; never really settles down, always wanting to do the one thing he's not doing, doesn't sleep for more than 30 minutes in the day and 3 hour stints at night, has fads about whether or not he's going to eat for days on end... we just keep saying to each other that whatever happens, our boy can't be as difficult as he is! The family revolves around nephew, but in a bad way as we're stuck to his rigid schedule and mood swings, I hope our DS fits in nicely and SIL doesn't make it too hard for the boys to see a lot of each other.
Also wondering if a bloody nose is another glamorous pregnancy thing? Mine has been really sore all week and every time I blow/wipe my nose there's blood and scabs popping out! _pale_
