Just to expand on my previous hairy belly admission, I've always had a little downy hair there but it's definitely longer and there's a dark line now! I don't know how best to get rid of it though! I seem to be hairer all over although the rate of growth seems to have slowed a little, in the first few months my legs were yeti-standard, they're not quite *as* bad now. Even my arm hair seems longer now, although thankfully not darker!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Right, I've managed to wind myself up about the fact OH went to work so annoyed with me for last night that he refused to give me a kiss this morning, that I'm going to go and paint the spare room. aka what he would refer to as his man cave. We have a double bed coming for it on Tuesday and I won't be able to move it myself, so the painting just has to be done today
He's going to be most annoyed as a) he can't be bothered to paint it b) I'm not the best painter/decorator c) He can't be bothered to move his computer & speakers and this will force him to do so.
Lesson he shall be learning: never annoy a pregnant lady.
Last time I went out and bought lime green paint for the dining room...still to be painted.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

More painting being done my hubby in the nursery today :j it is looking really good and the colour has won me over again
Then all he needs to do is move all the current furniture about and build the new pieces :rotfl:Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
The nursery is so close to being done :j :j :j DH is getting really broody just spending time in there :rotfl: Have managed to keep it pretty neutral despite best attempts to 'pinkify' it by both Grandmothers... it's duck egg blue with lemon textiles from m&p - not what I originally thought I'd go for but really like it now. I can't wait for it all to be finished - although it did used to be our 'junk room' so we've now had to put the Christmas tree up in the lounge as there's nowhere else to put it - no idea where it's going after Christmas! :rotfl:
Stressing a little bit as we have the health visitor around tomorrow to introduce herself and give us the red book and whilst I know that:
a) she won't care about the house
b) a bit of washing never hurt anyone
c) our home is probably *spotless* compared to 99% of the homes she sees around here
I'm still a bit concerned that she'll realise the dryer has packed in and we have more washing to get through than usual so she'll think we're unfit parents :rotfl:
Desperately trying to dry things on the rubbish old airer as we speak!0 -
I'm feeling very inadaquete after all these posts about decorating the nursery, I have no intentions of doing out our spare bedroom, currently my computer and work room, until the baby is at least 5 months old! She'll be sleeping in our room anyway till 6 months-ish so I want to keep my me space for as long as possible!
On the subject of being hairy, I have PCOS (both my son and bump are Clomid babies) so I can't say I've noticed much differenceAlthough I have let my personal grooming go to pot a bit as it's a right chew on and as I keep saying to OH, we're already married with nearly 2 kids, I don't have to try and impress him anymore!
Hope everyone's having a good day!:j30/7/10:j

Lots of nursery decoration going on! Well done to everyone getting jobs done! Ours is practically finished even though we know the baby won't be in there for months. We live in a 2 bedroom flat and a lot of people have been quite sniffy about how they think we should move (but they clam up when I ask them for the money to make that happen!
) so we kind of felt like we had to give the baby his own space to put our minds at rest that he wouldn't be sleeping in a drawer in the corner of our junk room!
It's also helped OH to prepare as he needs to visualise things so seeing where the baby will sleep and all his little clothes in the wardrobe and whatnot have helped him.

Can you add me to the list please Kynthia? Due pink 4 March 2014Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
