Oh dear, what have I started off with talk of starting to lose my plug?!

  • OMG... just inspected my nipples to see if I had any 'skin tags' and started leaking everywhere.:eek::eek:
I guess it must be colostrum - sort of yellowy liquid.
I have bought a pack of breast pads but wasn't planning to use them until baby is here!!:rotfl:
  • p.s. - no skin tags here.

ooh that's a bit of a hard choice isn't it, which would you rather have, nipples that leak or have random bits of skin? lol

LOL! Lesson to be learned there, don't go poking around your boobs! :rotfl: I only noticed my funny skin tags as I was cleaning up some crusty stuff that seemed to have leaked at some point so it looks like I don't have to make a choice, I get both! _pale_

We also had a rant about how fed up we are of people saying 'You have no idea what you're in for', 'It's harder than you can ever imagine', 'You'll never go on holiday again' blah blah blah. Why do people insist on saying rubbish like this? Are they trying to put us off? (It's a bit late for that!), warn us, scare us?! I think that instead of trying to scare first time parents it would be nice if people could be positive... to just keep freaking quiet as I'm frankly quite sick of people gushing 'Oh, you've got no idea what love is until you're a parent' etc too! So basically... I just want people to !!!!!!! :rotfl:
How strange, why would you never go on holiday again once you've had a baby? I thought most people with or without children went on holiday at least once a year. Do they give reasons for these ridiculous statements? We went camping when DD1 was three months which I wouldn't have done with DD2 because she made more noise in the night which would have disturbed others but aside from that, I don't think having children has impinged on our ability to take holidays.

I honestly don't know BWP! I don't believe that people think through these silly statements before they make them! :p

Hi abis - nothing yet :( Walked the dogs for almost 2 hrs yesterday and still nothing. Been bouncing like tigger on my ball for the past week. Have been to the loo 3 times so far today so I'm hoping something is still happening. Braxton hicks are getting quite hard and regular, but no pains.
