I'm only scared of looking like a crazy person with a car seat in my car as I'm only 27 weeks!
Once I hit the 30s we'll be setting it up, haven't even got a clue how to put the seat in so we need lots of practice!
Haha. Do you have a base? Can't believe how easy it is...just clicks on and off.DS born November 2013 :smileyhea0 -
TL This has happened to me a few times and each time it has been nothing to worry about so please try not to worry. Call your HCP or midwife to get it checked for peace of mind and please let us know you are ok.
We ended up at maternity assessment yesterday as baby hadn't been moving and I was worried. Typically though as soon as I was attached to the monitor he booted me firmly in the ribs. What a relief!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

We've got a base, that's the bit I'm concerned about, don't know how to fit it!Also need to learn how to fit the seat using the seat belt so grandparents can take him out and about.
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Where did you get the base from? Pop back and ask for a demo. My car has isofix fixings and literally just clicked in to them. The seatbelt fixing is a little more complicated. XxDS born November 2013 :smileyhea0

We got it online.
Hoping it's easy to pop in but we haven't even looked at it yet, just chucked it in the boot in a 'we'll worry about that later' kind of way!
As with everything, we just need to play with it to get the knack. I keep forgetting how to collapse the pram and get all upset with myself because what kind of mother can't even collapse her baby's pram... then OH does it with a flick of his finger and reminds me that you just have to slide the widget up and it's easy peasy! :rotfl:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Hehe I haven't tried ours yet...it's still in the box. Everyone keeps telling me that it's bad luck to have the pram in the house before baby is here...where else do you put it? The box is really big and I don't want to burden anyone with it.

TL - Hope the blob is just from your cervix, if you are concerned I would ring the midwife. Do you have an upcoming appointment?
Rummer - Glad to hear that everything was alright in the end. Sounds like you have a little prankster on your hands;)
Vic - Yay for full term. Won't be long now....:D0 -
Hi everyone,
Not due to officially join you until next week but wanted to ask whether any of you were diagnosed with low lying placenta as I have been. If so, how did things go for you?0
