Vic, our seat and base are in the boot ATM because we wanted them out the flat! :o Very tempting to set them up but aware that I'll look like a crazy person if we do! :p

oh ladies i'm having a horrible Tuesday. i hate Tuesdays.

Started off by waking up at 4 for the loo, and hear a cat meow and thought it was mine. got worried he'd got trapped in a room (DH has just put some draft excluder stuff on the doors so he can't open them anymore) so was wandering round the house in the dark with my phone looking for the cat, who was happily curled up on the armchair and gave me a fustrated 'brrpp' when i disturbed him.

Journey to work was a nightmare as lots of traffic also dh had put an air freshener in the car which stunk and irritated my nose.
Plus i've had bad indigestion all morning so was really uncomfy

get to work and have a major disaster on a project that i would never choose to do in a million years if you asked me as it's too high pressure. problem is fixed now though but not helped by my bosses oh so helpful 'we should've picked up on that' ARGH

AND we had a fire drill and i didn't bring my coat and greater manchester is not the warmest place in the world at the minute let me tell you.

    I need a large vodka.

Oh no teamlowe .... Maybe there is something in the air as I work in South Manchester and my day has been horrid too....bad traffic (nowt new), no carparking space cos someone from another office took 5 of our 13 allocated spaces (we have carpark wars at work with our neighbours), then my computer decided not to work so had to phone IT who are a much help as a chocolate fire guard!! All this before 9am. Day was horrible and on the way home some idoit nearly crashed into me. To top it off I've just eaten my tea which was horrible.

Get to leave work early tomorrow as I have a midwife appointment .... Yay excited!! Sad I know but 2 hours less at work is much appreciated!

    Hope you are all well,

You crazy ladies! Lol only joking! The car seat is in the cot mainly as I washed covers and left it there while I reassembled it (they don't make that an easy job!) I would put it in the car but my cars literally just come out of the garage! Once I empty the recycling out of the boot I might put it in the car could do with seeing how it fits with my sons car seat in back too. Pram is in hallway downstairs as it's been there since my son stopped using it a few months back lol! The carrycot has been on it but you have to remove it to fold grr! Once baby is here I will keep the pram up with the carrycot on in the hallway. Moses basket will go in our room and bouncer/ swing will come down stairs. The nursery will look empty lol! I know what you mean about clothes Vic, I bought a few then I keep getting given bits from friends/ family then I remembered all of my sons baby clothes! Got about an 80ltr storage box of each size... That inc newborn lol!! My son was in tiny baby first then newborn upto 3 months old so his clothes were well worn! Kinda hope this baby is similar as she's got some beautiful sleep suits/ outfits :)

Glad you are enjoying maternity leave Vic I've enjoyed having a bit more time to get stuff done especially when my son is in nursery as it's so hard to do things when he is here!

I think bumps had a growth spurt, clothes are getting tighter and lots of people asking if I am due soon!

TL - you probably just irritated your cervix, I had this for a few weeks in my first and second trimester as I have funny cervix. But I'd definitely get it checked by the medical professionals to make sure nothing is up. It could just be old blood working its way down :) xx

I've woken up with a stinking cold :( back to bed I go.

I'm only scared of looking like a crazy person with a car seat in my car as I'm only 27 weeks! :p Once I hit the 30s we'll be setting it up, haven't even got a clue how to put the seat in so we need lots of practice! :)

TL, I'm sure the dodgy mucus is just old blood from your stroppy cervix (I had it every time we indulged in 'amorous activities' in the first 12 weeks or so) but it is good to make sure with a GP or MW. :)

Boo to the cold Kerri. Hope you feel better after some rest and TLC. :)

Got a really sharp pain on my lower left hand side today, keep wincing and groaning and flopping about in my chair trying to get a comfy position, think my manager's worried about me! :o

Hope you all have a good Wednesday, and it's an improvement on yesterday for those with nightmare Tuesdays! :)

So next on the list is nursing bras. I need to get measured next week. Where is the best place to go? I only know of mothercare that do fittings.
