Congratulations Brunette, Angel, Locky and Trina! Some lovely names! Apologies if I've missed anyone! X
Angel so pleased your little man is here and he didn't arrive on Halloween x
Brunette sorry you had a rough timex
How an I now no.9?! Oh my gosh! I'm not ready! Scary thing is I will be delivering a few days earlier too
Thanks everyone for suggestions about hospital bags/ how many nights stay after section. I will pack for 2 nights and keep a spare bag in car as I know DH will be clueless! Started washing clothes for hospital bag, need p buy some big pants still. I've found a bag of DHs that would be perfect but he uses it for work! Hope everyone is ok, loving the baby photosxx
Hi chick, hope you're feeling better now. Do you have a date for your c section yet? XxDS born November 2013 :smileyhea0 -
Hi Vic I'm feeling great thanks, slept so much since finishing work! How are you? I've been told 26th Nov for a section which seems v close to EDD to me especially as I still think it's 27th! Can't see me going into labour any earlier though! Have you packed your bag yet? Feeling ready at all?! Stil seems so much to do and all I want to do is sleep! XxTrying to save for a deposit

Starshining, PLEASE PLEASE tell me what worked for your heartburn. I'm due the day before you and I have had dreadful heartburn for the last month. It stops me sleeping properly at night but it is all day long too, and is so bad this evening that I am almost reduced to tears. Gaviscon improves things a little but I would need to be taking it every half hour to get serious relief.
On a nicer note, we have ordered our pram! Went for the uppababy vista in jade green. Got a really good deal, including the Izigo car seat for only £655! (saving of £110 of RRP of both I think) Still no nursery furniture, but one step at a time...
Congratulations to all the new mummies, some lovely pics this week - I hope my little man will be as gorgeous.
Good luck to those near their due dates... Hope all goes well and you have uneventful deliveries.
Ellie

Bump due 18th January :j0 -
That's fab news! I'm ok thanks. Hubby has been off work this week but returns tomorrow. It's gonna be very quiet here. I'm not sleeping particularly well so will try to rest and catch up on sleep. I'm currently half way through packing my bag and washing baby clothes. Nursery is pretty much done now!
At last my pram has arrived. Due to stupid small car boot, we were really limited in what would fit. In the end, we went for this one. We had a really good deal on the package as the colour is being discontinued. We also bought the carrycot and car seat base.

Blimey I'm number 4!! How did that happen?!?!
Braxton hicks have really kicked up a notch & she's dropped down lower than I thought was possible - I cannot sit with my knees together anymorefeel sooo lady like lol
Been making great use of our dogs and Cannock chase - walking up to 1hr30mins 3-4 times a week so maybe that's why she's dropped so low
Lots of hugs to the 2 remaining boldies and anyone else who needs one

I'm guessing we're quite local to each other if you walk on cannock chase.DS born November 2013 :smileyhea0 -
OMG no 6!!
ellie3009 I got Omeprazone from the docs and its amazing if the rantidine doesn't work.
I've got the Uppababy Vista as well, we love it as it's so easy to steer, big basket. A little bit heavy getting in and out of the car according to MIL but she's rubbish, she can't even put the travel cot up without help!! Also she can't fold it down as you have to have a certain knack.
I wasn't planning on having a second until DD1 was properly walking, but life didn't stick to the plan so I'm buying the rumble seat to make it into a temporary double so I'll let you know if its any goodGot married 13/11/10

Congratulations for all the new births! :j So many in such a short space I can't remember all the names!
That does shoot me up into the terrifying teens though, which doesn't seem possible  However, I think there's gonna be a massive lull in birth announcements soon, cos I've got almost 10 weeks till my EDD...
Not much to report from me. Nasty case of thrush is doing my head in, thanks to some (unnecessary IMO) antibiotics for my sinuses. No word from the hospital about my blood tests (including GTT) so I'm assuming all was fine there and my pregnacare supplements are keeping my iron levels in check - til I hear otherwise at leastif I don't get a letter by the end of the week I'll try and work out who to ring for my results though as a) I'm intrigued (I had impaired glucose tolerance, before losing 80lbs pre-pregnancy, thanks in part to PCOS) to see what it is now b) my community midwife (from a different hospital area, they don't share info ) will likely need to know.
DH is itching to get the mattress for the cot bed, but I'm dilly dallying about over it... Too much range of choice and priceI keep worrying I'll get the wrong one and somehow be responsible for some horrible outcome, like cot death
(I've entered an anxious phase, hormonally, atm
), but I also don't actually believe all the hype of the more expensive /fancy mattresses
Can anyone offer me some words of wisdom /reassurance...?
Also entered a more knackered phase. Don't know if it's third trimester truly kicking in, or a growth spurt, or my body being unhappy with the extra strain of conditions (without meds) + pregnancy + colder weather... I guess I'll have to see how it goes
Labour vibes to the remaining boldies
Welcome Mrs bunny (and any other newbies I missed)
