I'm (probably naively) telling myself that my little dude is just too busy sleeping happily in there, hence why he hasn't got his act together yet and that it'll be the same when he is evicted.......wishful thinking maybe.

God I am in agony tonight! Been on my feet all day at work, now have throbbing in my pelvis/top of birthplace!

Braxton hix have been bad tonight, along with lots of no2s! But this isn't much diff to last week or so. Just stronger pressure 'there'! Please god let me get through the night! I'm shattered :-(

I'm convincing myself that babies just don't come when your tired & wait until you have some energy for labour! Fingers (&legs) crossed for peaceful night! X

Angelmommy I like your PMA. I however have concerns that mine is plotting away and waiting to do something spectacular at some point... Maybe hang on in there until Tuesday and then just as the fireworks start - Whooooosh! Not that I am dramatic in any way.

My old school friend who *was* due after me by a month has just gone in to active labour ... ! It is her third though compared to my first, so I'm not taking it so personally (because you know how personal these labours can be.......)

Ah well, November has been busy so far on here, maybe we'll have one a day

congratulations on the recent births, I like this thread lots of cute babies to oohhh ahhh over cant wait to meet my little man, though I do have a bit of a wait!!

can I have some advise please ladies.....when sleeping, I sleep on my side, always have done pre pregnancy. When I turn over to change sides I get a terrible sharp pain in my lower right above the hip area. doesn't matter which way I turn, it hurts! It is also the same when I stand up from a sitting position. I am hoping baby is in a funny position but its been like this for a few days now. I see my midwife on Wednesday so will mention it then - just want to know if this is normal (first pregnancy)?

Yes, very normal. It's just muscles and ligaments stretching. Look for a picture online of what your insides look like when you have a baby in there and compare it to a non-pregnant woman. It's a wonder we can still function!
If I move too quickly my abdominal muscles go into spasm and the pain is out of this world. I physically can't move myself and have to get OH to move me so it'll stop.
