The babies are swarming in now Looking forward to some pics from you all!

Just had the midwife turn up (after ringing me to announce that I had been prescribed penicillin which confused me no end... turns out she had the wrong number). That was my 8th midwife I've seen now, it's an added surprise each time I'm visited I guess.

Anyhoo, everything looked favourable - 3.5cm dilated and 'bulging' water (swit swoo) but booked in on Thursday for an induction just in case he holds out that long - but she said they'd skip the pessary because of how far I am currently.

Angelmommy we might be induced on the same day! Hope your sweep goes well on Monday if the weekend is uneventful, will be looking out for news!

Sorry for being a bit moany earlier in the day.

BabaMoose - yay induction date buddies lol. I have no other buddy since my due date buddy went and left me (only joking Cloudy:beer:). Ooh 3.5cm is good - you're over a third way there already. X

TTC40- I love that you carried on and got your shopping. I have no idea how much water there would be?

BabaMoose - do you have an 'end date'? My midwife wants me in for an induction on thurs if nothing happens by then so a max of 5 days. I'm booked in for a sweep Monday morning although have lost my plug so not sure what she will do.

Re: hospital bags. I have small flight case for me and baby plus his changing bag. Unless I'm induced, I'm due on the birthing unit so won't be staying in.

40+6!!!

It was like I had wet myself - nothing went on the floor. Although I was wearing black jogging bottoms which disguised it well!

Haha TTC40, really? With dd2 my waters dripped slowly so I had to carry on as normal with a huge sanitary towel on - I remember saying to hubby that that must be what it's like for a toddler in a wet nappy lol.

hi everyone. congrats to all where due. hugs to everyone that needs/wants one. i can't believe how quickly this pregnancy has gone and that i have less than 6 weeks till baby is here.... im starting to get a bit anxious tbh hoping it will all go ok but scared that something will go wrong or that i wont cope while in labour. did anyone else feel like this ? my first baby i didn't have a clue just knew i had to get him out and took all pain relief offered to me.... i had a great labour but regret being off my face for most of it on the gas and air ....
