Oh he is gorgeous Angel
congratulations.
Congratulations Brunettegirl, so glad to hear you and little one are ok. It's no wonder he wasn't coming out at that weight! All those weeks of waiting are finally over for youSorry it wasn't as straight forward as you had hoped though.
WC jab: I've decided not to have it. There were several reasons:
a) I didn't want to be a guinea pig, the vaccine has only been given for just over a year so we don't know what the long-term side effects are and it's not the same jab as is given in America, it's slightly different.
b) We don't know whether it reduces the potency of the 8week jab that baby gets as we're given the booster that 3y/o's get not the same as the baby gets
c) They're not 100% sure it does pass across to baby
d) I've got enough problems with my immunity that I didn't want to add a foreign body to my system for it to have to fight off, even if it isn't a live vaccine.
Then again I also refused the flu jab telling my MW that I get bronchitis every year with or without a flu jab, and seeing how the flu jab is meant to stop you getting further infections such as bronchitis I thought it a little pointless having it. I think I also weighed up the number of babies dying from either & the number of babies surviving and decided the risk was low enough not to go for them. I work from home and don't get out much so unlikely to come into contact with many sickie people.
Has anyone's cats become over clingy recently? I know they do when it gets colder, but Chloe is being quite a big PITA being on top of me ALL the time and shouting at me if I don't instantly pick her up.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Yes, towards the end of my pregnancy, my cat Molly kept following me around, getting under my feet and climbing all over me! When I was having really bad contractions on Friday, they were both nuzzling against me and trying to get close. Very sweet but not what I needed!0 -

I am still here managed to find something that works for the heartburn which I am so pleased about
Starshining, PLEASE PLEASE tell me what worked for your heartburn. I'm due the day before you and I have had dreadful heartburn for the last month. It stops me sleeping properly at night but it is all day long too, and is so bad this evening that I am almost reduced to tears. Gaviscon improves things a little but I would need to be taking it every half hour to get serious relief.
On a nicer note, we have ordered our pram! Went for the uppababy vista in jade green. Got a really good deal, including the Izigo car seat for only £655! (saving of £110 of RRP of both I think) Still no nursery furniture, but one step at a time...
Congratulations to all the new mummies, some lovely pics this week - I hope my little man will be as gorgeous.
Good luck to those near their due dates... Hope all goes well and you have uneventful deliveries.
