Luckily it wasn't a gush on the floor and I had absorbent trousers. I still completed my purchase!

Then sat on a coat to drive home - was in ohs car which was a week old!

Hello- just checking in to say our baby boy was born on Thursday, 8lbs 2oz. He is absolutely perfect. Had to be transferred to the consultant led unit in the end for stitching so we had to stay in a night but all ok and at home now!

Had quite a quick labour in the end which took us all by surprise!

Hope everyone else is ok- I am a bit behind but will try to catch up today!

Morning all, what a lazy week I've had! I think I've just felt more tired since finishing work! I've been washing baby clothes this week. Really must get my bag packed, all I can find is a small suitcase I don't really want to buy another bag so not sure whether to take that? It's got wheels so would be easier to transport! Think I'm guarenteed at least a 72 hour stay with a section?

I'm taking my hand luggage bag as labour bag, and small suitcase for after. If i have to stay in for even 3days, theres lots we'll need & there is no point getting OH to bring bits as he is 100x worse than useless at things like that! i'd end up with a pre pregnancy size bra, lacy knickers & the boys clothes! The only non-clothes stuff is 1 magazine, breast pads, a tiny toiletries bag and a bag of sweets!

TTC40- I love that you carried on and got your shopping. I have no idea how much water there would be?

BabaMoose - do you have an 'end date'? My midwife wants me in for an induction on thurs if nothing happens by then so a max of 5 days. I'm booked in for a sweep Monday morning although have lost my plug so not sure what she will do.

Re: hospital bags. I have small flight case for me and baby plus his changing bag. Unless I'm induced, I'm due on the birthing unit so won't be staying in.

I think my end date is 5 days from today (am 41 weeks today) but will double check when (if) they come to do a sweep today.

They said they'd reschedule to today but I've had no contact from them so no idea when they might arrive... or if they still are going to arrive... kind of puts a bit of a dampener on making any plans for the day. Although someone is also coming to fit doors today (they're an hour late) so I'd have to be in anyway.
Can you tell I'm a little bit fed up today?

Had a rubbish nights sleep, felt really really queezy and had to get up for an hour and sit downstairs. Still feel a bit sicky and (TMI ALERT) been to the toilet a good few times too...

I feel like I should be up and doing things but I have no energy. Don't think OH is best pleased as I'm blatently in not the best mood.

Hi ladies. Just wanted to share with you that my induction went very well and easily.baby boy Hunter Michael was born at 4:53 this morning weighing 8lb 0.5oz.staying in hospital tonight due to 2 nd degree tear (they thought it wasa 3rd) ill post a bit more when I get home tomorrow about the ins and outs but overall a positive experience
