Anyone else feeling/felt incredibly sick near the end?

I've been feeling a bit queezy every now and again, but have put it down to maybe eating bigger portions than I should be at this stage... he has grown to a fair size and must be making things a little tight in there. I was very lucky all the way through though with no sickness so counting myself lucky still.

Don't think you are being silly at all re Halloween. It's a date that has a meaning for you, everyone has them and they each mean their own things. Hopefully your new arrival will have their very own date :)

Fingers crossed that things happen for you in the next few days and by the sounds of it you've been on your way and body preparing for a while now so it doesn't seem unlikely!

I think I've been too hospitable to mine, he clearly doesn't want to move. Might start doing Zumba and shaking things up a bit so he thinks twice about clinging on. I have a feeling the more I want him out the more he will stay where he is though, stubborn bump.
  • well that was a waste of time! still closed, couldn't do stretch and sweep and no way to break waters.

induction booked for Wednesday will be +14!

So frustrated/disappointed and sick of it all
I need to start saving so I plan to save £2 a week to start with:beer:
  • Re: BF versus FF, I'm hoping to give BF a go as it never occurred to me to not even try. Saying that I accept that it's not everyone's cup of tea and I know it may not work out. I know my mum FF me and (as far as I can tell) I turned out ok.

Had a massive hormonal meltdown at DH a little while ago - I know it was wrong and have apologised and I feel really bad about it. I think he thinks I'm using my hormones as an excuse to be a right cow though! He's also decided to complain about my snoring - never mind the fact that I've put up with his for the last four years!

Pregnancy wise I think baby has FINALLY decided to engage a bit!! I had a play with the Doppler earlier and the heartbeat was much lower than it normally is. Now that I've said that, it'll probably spring back up lol!

    40+10

Congratulations Toothfairy, Deva and TTC40! TTC I am sorry you had to wait so long due to lack of beds :( xx

Kerri how was the Babyshow? I was slightly disappointed at Manchester, I am glad we didn't pay to get in! By the look of it this weekend had few more exhibitors hope you had a lovely time! x

BigZippy thats lovely of you're DH looking up nursery ideas :) wish mine would show some interest!! x

Fluffy your DH sounds more like mine! Seriously no interest, I keep telling him where everything is and he doesn't listen. I've tried asking him to choose suits/ etc for baby and he just says he doesn't have time/ cba... charming! x

Hugs Vic I am so sorry your friends have let you down xx I am sure you will still have a lovely time with family xx

Nene hope things start happening for you soon x

Happy due date Cloudy and Angel! x

LOL Tooth I found the 'Bounty Lady' so annoying! I felt really pressured into having photos taken when I had no intentions of buying. She kept going on about different packages with keychains/ cards etc that we would never use! I much prefer taking my own photos! x

Hugs Brunette x I hope you go into labour before induction. I was booked in at 42 weeks and went naturally before I even got into the induction room! x

Evening all, been having a lazy day. Last day of work tomorrow! I've got a few appts/ etc this week so will be kept busy. I really want to pack my hospital bag, can I ask anyone whose had a c-section is there anything different you need to pack? Any 'must haves'?! I am thinking a nightie and lovely 'big pants' but not sure what else. DH will only be with me during the rubbish limited visiting hours and I am hoping to go home ASAP (although I was in a week for a natural birth last time due to complications so who knows!) xx

Have spent today clearing out back room with hubby and preparing to turn it into a nursery. Have reshuffled bits and pieces from all through the flat to make space! Has been hard work (and hallway is still full of bits for charity shop/ mum's loft/ friends etc) but so good to see the nursery looking clear. The decor is staying as it is except for new curtains, and the cot is ordered. Feels good to have this side of things under control after first getting started some weeks ago.
Ready for commuter chaos in the morning if the storm turns out as predicted! Hope everyone is safe and sound.
Congrats on the latest babies, still feels a long way off for me, but time is flying! X

  • BabaMoose & Starshinning - thank you for your replies, it means a lot right now. Just can't seem to stop sobbing today. I think stress may be contributing towards me feeling sick too. :'( xx
