congratulations toothfairy! so glad all is ok, hope you are enjoying lots of cuddles!
love Olly as a name as well, we couldnt have it because my cousin is Olly already, otherwise it wouldve been well up my list!
ooo so exciting, we need more babies! haha, im still in 12th and only 6 days to go until DD, although ill still likely panic when i hit the top 10! eek!
hope all are well.
TTC i hope you get some good news soon, and hope you got a good sleep last night at least if you havent been having that little baby of yours!

I have lost the will to live, no idea what to do today to take my mind off everything.

After 4 days of contracting on and off last night was most uneventful and I slept like a baby and didn't have any pains whatsoever! So I think baby has decided to definitely stay put a while longer

Thanks for the advice regarding my 'leaking' issue. I'm going to see how it goes today and ring the midwife if it continues, I noticed yesterday evening I would feel it when I was having a 'contraction' so just want to make sure.

Thoroughly fed up, don't think I can cope with another 2 weeks.

Got to call back at 4pm. Looking like tomorrow when I will become 'priority' as it will have been 72 hours since waters broke.

Had a cry when I got off the phone. Just want my baby here safely and soon.

Just had the sweeeeep. Odd feeling, but not painful.

Said baby's head was down, cervix was forward, not paper thin yet but she was able to 'get in and give it a good go'.... so fingers crossed I won't have to wait until November and he will make it into October afterall...!

Good luck to the boldies, will be looking out for you all x

Off to town to get some supplies and move around a bit, exciting times.

so I have managed to get the m/w to agree to give me gas and air before she does an internal at hospital tmrw.

She is hoping that I will be in a position to have my waters broken??
Has anyone had this done, how far open does your cervix need to be,
does that kick start things?

What do people do with other children??????
We have no childcare, friend who originally offered is away now

Aww hun that's awful, can they not send you to another hospital???

Congratulations Toothfairy! Lovely name. So pleased Olly is here, safe and sound. X

TTC - I can't believe you are still waiting on a bed! I didn't think you were allowed to go that long after your waters went? Mine with dd2 went during Sunday and they booked me in for induction first thing tues - though I had her naturally early hours of Monday.

Brunettegirl - I really feel for you. I don't know whereabouts you are in the country but I'm surprised they are leaving you so late. I will be booked in for induction 10 days after 40wks with a sweep at 41wks.

Trina - know what you mean; Cloudy and I are due tomorrow yet we're 9th on the list! In 2 days we will be bold.

AFM - contractions through the night but eased off a little so I managed to get some sleep - woke at 8 to a few more...but now nothing other than a few cramps. Hubby has been a complete tw8t and I'm getting a little sick of the texts/messages asking if he is here yet. Doesn't help that dd2 was (equivalently) out by 6am this morning so I mentally thought I wouldn't make it this far. Quite upset today.:(

Still exhausted and doing little bar sleeping and sitting very still.

We have started to think about xmas gifts as the last thing I want to do at 8 months pregnant is to queue! Ordering a few bits on line and wrapping them as they come so that I am calmly organised.
