walkingonadream - if it is more noticeable when you sit down then it's your waters, sounds like your waters to me anyway from what I've read. They don't all gush out, they can just trickle and doesn't necessarily have to be loads.
Also, the reason we tend to labour more at night/early morning is due to nature. Many animals will give birth at dusk or dawn to protect themselves from predators. Although I told my OH this and he didn't believe me, but it's what my Dad told me. It's also why they dim the lights in labour wards/delivery rooms as well as helping you to relax.
I reckon you'll have your little one really soon walkingonadream
My guess is either tonight or first thing tomorrow if your waters are going.
AFM - just watched a water birth of a breech baby, I soooo didn't know you could birth a breech baby naturally. In fact the NHS website says the safest method for birth is c-section, but then if your body is designed to birth a baby and a c-section isn't without risk...how can they say one is "safest". So much misinformation for expectant parents out there. Plus every midwife has to go through training to deliver a breech baby. Luckily I don't think ours is breech anymore

Good luck to the bold ladies!0 -
walkingonadream - sounds like if it is clear it is more likely to be leaking fluid, start of waters trickling maybe... as other discharge may have a smell (mmmm) or be yellowish colour (leaking urine)... we ladies are in our prime at the moment.
However, if in doubt - I'd get it checked out. Should be the sort of thing they could test with a dip stick I would have thought? Those strips they dip in urine tests... that would show up if it was anything to be wary of, quick and easy?
Apparently (from my brief reading now) fluid/waters have a sickly sweet smell to them though - but maybe if yours is just trickling there isn't enough of it to be producing much of an aroma? This is all just guess work on my behalf though.
I need to get a shimmy on and do something today, finding it far to easy to sit and do nothing. Going to try and make a hot air balloon out of a lampshade... cause you know... that's how I roll...
I'll keep lurking for news though

Good luck tooth fairy and ttc

Money saving momma approach your gp first, Re crutches, unless you're already under a physio? They'll probably say you'd need to be referred to the physio to get them, but I don't really think you have time for that. I have before pressured my gp into writing me a letter to take down to my physio department for equipment there and then (splints in that case) so maybe you could do the same?
Welcome jox and anyone else I've missed joining

WalkingOnADream - I have had that for last 10 days; midwife said it's just an increase in discharge as body is getting ready for eviction. My waters leaked last time with dd2 and I had to wear a sanitary pad as it was like the end of a wee that I just couldn't stop - hope that makes sense?
Is it weird that I would like my waters to 'gush' this time? I've not experienced it before and I'm quite intrigued.
I've had lots of contractions during the last week in the night but have come to nothing. Really didn't think I would make it to due date in Sunday, let alone go over. We have tried everything last couple days and nothing has made any difference; EPO, RLT, s3x, nipple stimulation, long walks, spicy food, fresh pineapple, birthing ball, jumping up and down - he's adamant on staying in until HE is ready. Stubborn little man.
Kiddicare have 15% off any spend over £100 until 3rd November. Not sure if it helps anyone but I think they price match too and when we were looking for a bugaboo, they were the cheapest anyway without discount.
Fingers crossed that us top 10 have our babies before this weekend is over! For those already in labour - I'm excited for you; hope it's over nice and easy and as painless as possible!

Hi all - just popping in during a night feed with my nearly 10 week old actual human (where has time gone?!) because I miss you all

We got a bath from mothercare and used it about twice before I got a bath chair from asda to go in the big bath and it's a million times easier.
Lovely to see you, I think I joined just before your LO was born, 10 weeks already how time flies! x
Good luck TTC40 x
Hugs Brunette x
LOL Cloudy when I am in college everyone keeps watching me, asking if I am ok as though I am going to suddenly go into labour :rotfl:x
Hugs Kerri you have been having some crazy dreams! I haven't really had many at all this pregnancy but I haven't really been sleeping much either
hope you are ok x
Exciting ToothFairy! Good luck! x
Thanks Baba I slept fairly well in the end! Took some painkillers and thankfully BH calmed down, sure they will start again tonight! x
Hope you are ok MoneySavingMama, you should be able to get crutches through your MW/ physio or Dr. I was told I would probably need them but thankfully physio seems to have eased my SPD slightly x
Second to last day in work! Hope Vic is having a good last day! I think baby has turned and is possibly head down, she's shifted sides anyway as all limbs as now the opposite side. Keeps popping in and out of being engaged which is so uncomfortable, I seem to walk normally them suddenly start waddling! :rotfl:Trying to save for a deposit
