Quickly popping in to say that my waters exploded everywhere about an hour ago (was in bed but luckily been sleeping on an old duvet due to sore hips) definitely no mistaking them once they pop! Have to ring back hospital in 15 mins then go in for assessment. Getting contractions every 4-5 mins now. Whoever it was that guessed for baby to be born thus afternoon, i hope you are right and its nice and quick!!0

Oooh that was me Toothfairy, I hope I'm right!
Good luck!
Hugs for having unsettling dreams and a rubbish sleep Kerri. You'd think our bodies would be wired to let us have as much rest as possible whilst pregnant, not keeping us awake with aches and pains and when we do sleep, giving us horrid dreams that freak us out!
Enjoy your meal tonight Cloudy, will you be having anything extra spicy in the hope it'll get things moving?! I remember going out for dinner with a colleague who was a week overdue and we were all so scared she was going to go into labour at any minute! she kept saying 'I'm fine! Stop looking at me!'
Hoping all the boldies move off the list over the weekend, so many lovely new babies to look forward to!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Good luck TTC and toothfairy! I was only in established labour for 6 hours so you may well be meeting your little one this afternoon toothfairy x0

 Toothfairy - hope you get to meet your LO very soon and in as stress-free a way as possible
Thinking of all the other boldies, as well as TTC and sending a big hug to Kerri for weird / scary dreams!0 -
Good luck TTC & Toothfairy!! I want to see more baby pics!!
cloudy I am due Saturday but have had nothing so far... maybe me and you can challenge the current boldies into how long we're at the top forHope your meal is nice! We're thinking about potentially going out this weekend in order to try and kickstart something... not entirely sure how I'd feel if my waters did break in between a starter and main course though... Guaranteed I'd have to wait until they put my food in a doggy bag
!
Hope KScarlet managed to get to sleep last night!
I'm having a very lazy day today... in between eating and napping I might attempt to do something productive... chances are slimx

Still here, 36+4, so fingers crossed i'll get past 37wks, and little one will be healthier.
Things calmed until yesterday, BH all day, then terrible back pains from 9pm. Still in bed, can only shuffle to toilet! Pelvis, hips & back have just given up! Not great when I have a 22m old to look after! We've raided my snack drawer & had biscuits & choc for breakfast! Not sure how long before I'll have to crawl downstairs with him!
Gna try for a bath when he naps, feel like if I go into labour my skeleton will just fall apart! Lol!
How do i get crutches? Just ring dr's & they lend them out?
Sorry to be a moaner! Congrats on all the new arrivals! Xx:j - DS - 7

MoneySavingMamma- hope you feel better and things continue to settle down!
Good luck to Toothfairy too!
I think I will have something spicy tonight! I would also love a glass of wine but I fear that will get me too many odd/ disapproving looks. Oh well, not long to go!

 Toothfairy! Fingers crossed things progress further but sounds like you're well on your way yay
Thanks for the hugs everyone, the dreams really freaked me right out! No idea why I'd be anxious as I'm feeling pretty calm about it all, stupid subconscious!
Keeping everything crossed for the boldies that things get moving for you, even if that means I'll shoot up the list eep!Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Kerri thanks for the advice regarding relaxing to help labour. I'm now on day 4 of 'early labour' and sometimes relaxing gets things moving, other times it causes it to stop. Think my body is just being very awkward, I wish it would realise how annoying this is.
Babamoose thanks for the advice regarding my family dilemma. In the end I said I might be able to do it but couldn't make any guarantees and it would have to be a last minute decision. Which (understandably) was not good enough so someone else is going to take her.
AFM why is it I only seem to get contractions during the evening and through the night? I have them mildly on and off during the day but they tend to peak early hours of the morning. This has been going on for 4 days now and last night they were that bad that the pain woke me from my sleep but they have tailed off yet again! So frustrating!!
Also TMI warning, for the past day or so I've noticed a very odd sensation which feels like little bubbles coming out of my vagina and also I can feel fluid slowly coming out. Tends to happen when I'm just sat down relaxing. It has no smell and leaves only small wet patches so I'm assuming its just watery discharge? I don't think it's my waters as its not enough to soak a pad and doesn't pool when I lie down for a while. Has anyone experienced anything similar?
Good luck to those in labour, please send your vibes my way haha.0
