Although I bought a Belgian Bun and before I'd finished I'd already gloated to my OH... Stopped just shy of sending a pic of me with icing all over my face... So I'm not sure I'd have the skills to hide an entire tub...

LOL, love this plan! I have secret food stashes hidden from my OH, he's not that bothered but I still feel like he judges me for my snacks since he's super fit and healthy. Have a massive bag of monkey nuts and a bag of pistachios hidden in the hall closet ATM and he was looking in there last night for something, I was so worried he'd find my stash that I kept saying 'It's OK, I'll find what you're looking for!' :eek: Luckily he found what he wanted without unearthing my food! :rotfl:

Something i wasn't aware of (maybe i'm just behind lol) but mama's and papas have an ebay outlet here. Some good bargains! Been looking at their morph baby carrier.

Big zippy- I measured over with midwife a couple of times, but all of my growth scans showed baby as average and she was only 6lb 8 when she was born. I think it's hard to be accurate with the tape measure as it doesn't take into account how baby is lying etc so try not to worry!

Also, if you did turn out to have gd, please be reassured by the fact that I have type 1, so had diabetes for the whole pregnancy and beyond and my little girl was completely unaffected by it. You may have to change your diet, but if I remember correctly, you recently lost load of weight through a healthy diet so you won't struggle!! X

I'm back from the midwife now. She said baby had only grown 1/s cm in 2 weeks, "I said brilliant, it'll be a smaller baby" :rotfl:

She's booked me in for a stretch and sweep next Monday so is coming to my house to do it. Hopefully it won't get to that point though and I'll go naturally

I may have eaten too much chocolate, I've been unable to move off the sofa for the past half an hour...whoops...I now need to start making tea and do last nights washing up...but my bump is uncomfortably full feeling!!! Woe is me lol.

Lol re: hiding food - I do that as hubby and dd1 would happily eat it all to themselves! I do at least share. However, I will admit that when I was pregnant with dd2, I had a massive craving for chocolate cheesecake and obv that needs to stay in a fridge so I told a little white lie and told dd1 that she was unable to have any as it had alcohol in it. Hubby didn't like it anyway so it was all mine!!!! Hehe

Accidentally bullied a newbie EBer into changing a 99p start auction into a 99p Buy it Now in order to buy a cat baby grow in time for Halloween...

I feel so guilty!!

I did not offer to pay more...

But I feel so guilty!! I only asked about a BIN option so delivery would be quicker as it was a 7day auction...

Perhaps Karma will put me well and truly into November now. Poor newbie

Just nipping on to say that neither the whooping cough nor flu jabs are live vaccines so you're not being given a mild dose of any virus! There isn't anything for your immune system to fight so It really does make sense to get them done at the same time

I won't go into my opinions on using a tape measure to estimate the size of someones baby but Zippy, don't worry about anything. For your m/w to start rabbiting on about GD is frankly ridiculous.

Anyway, one of my friends had her baby today - 10lb 11oz at 38+2....!!!
