Yay fluffysox!! Will look forward to hearing the news later today.
Good luck to all the other boldies too.. I sense a swarm of babies about to embark on us...!
I'm off to get my hair done in an hour, what's the chances of it being on the house if my waters break mid rinse?
Feeling nice and bright and happy and excited for you all today0 -
Best of luck Fluffysox!
That nursing cami is very smart, I've seen things like that on Pinterest abut forgot about actually doing it!Need to go to Primark at the weekend for new (bigger!) pyjamas so will pick up some vests whilst I'm there.
I love to hear positive birth stories TTC40! Makes me feel a lot less freaked out about what's going to happen.
Really hope our boldies get some movement today.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Good luck fluffy! Will be thinking of you today.
Toothfairy sounds like you might be having contractions too. Try and walk about a bit if you can face it, helps to open and thin your cervix up xx0 -
morning ladies!
ooo good luck fluffy and toothfairy, eagerly awaiting some birth announcements (and pics)! so exciting!
Thanks ladies for listening tto my meltdown yesterday, feeling a bit better today, think ive sorted everything out with DH, but we shall see i guess! hes certainly been a lot more like the husband I know and not as distant.
Its been a long year for us, started with a few detaths in the family, then a full house renovation and not much time together. nevermind, we'll get back on track!

Thanks Nene , happy 40 weeks!! Hope we don't stay bold for too long!!
Sorry I've been missing for a while - just trying to catch up with all the news now!
Congrats Lobey!
Good luck Fluffysox!
Had a few pains late last night and the night before but no idea if they were contractions or anything else, they went away once I went to sleep and were gone by morning. Getting a bit fed up of going to bed hopeful and waking up disappointed! Doing a lot of bouncing and hip rotating on my gym ball and going for walks (in the rain!) to try to get things moving.
Got a sweep booked for Friday so hoping that will help if nothing else has by then!
Meanwhile, getting really annoyed with people asking "no baby yet?" and saying "don't forget to let us know when there's any news!"
Was talking to hubby last night and surprised that he is just as annoyed as I am about it!
His parents and grandparents keep telling him to phone them as soon as baby is born and he has to keep telling them that actually they might get a text when we are ready but he's going to be busy with me and the baby, not standing around making phone calls!!

Hi ladies,
In a bit of a panic, had midwife yesterday, bang on 36wks, told her about the pains/contractions I've been having over the last week, which are 100x worse than Braxton hix I've had in last 2 pgs.
She told me baby is on her way soon, then after examination I'm 3/5 engaged, and won't make it to my next app in 2 wks!
To be honest I was in shock yesterday, I know my last one was 37wks, but I'd had bleeding etc at the beginning and was told that normally means an early baby.
Had none of that this time, and as I'm smaller I'm worried about having a 36wk baby as she'll be so tiny!
How long would we need to spend in hosp at min, say she was doing well, but just early?
Hosp is nearly an hr away, and no friends/family to help with 1yr & 7yr old, so OH won't be with me much :-(
Should I take RL tea now? will that speed things up, or just help me for when it happens?
She also said last woman like me didn't make it to hosp & had baby at home
and labour hurts more each baby (except crowning i guess!)
and after pains can be worse than labour on 3rd!!
Not feeling great:j - DS - 7

Also, I think dizzi's second was born at 36 weeks and wasn't kept in hospital for very long - if you look back you can probably find her posts.0
