Just incase you guys didn't see my post in "grabbit" - Amazon are doing the ISO fix car base for Maxi Cosi for £86.67 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Maxi-Cosi-FamilyFix-Car-Seat-Base/dp/B002YK51YE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1382391391&sr=8-1&keywords=family+fix - I paid £120 for mine!:( (and they sell for decent values secondhand on Ebay once you have done with them - around £60-£70). I have the Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix car seat for my little one and this base has been a godsend for getting her in and out of the car! The price changes very quickly though....I haven't seen one this cheap for ages!
Oooh fluffysox - just read your post! How exciting! Good luck x0 -

Nene - what a fab idea thanks for sharing that I'll have to give it a go when I've got some energy
Brunette girl - maybe it'll happen today, fingers crossed, in France they don't say your due until 41w anyway and the majority of babies then come on their due date.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Nene - that looks worth a try (even with my basic sewing skills). The supermarkets usually sell cheap camis too.
Happy EDD to me & Miffymoo.
Think I have started to/ have lost my plug over the last day but no other signs at the moment. OH gone to his office today which is a 2 hour drive away. So whilst I would be delighted if something happened today, nothing too quick is required!
Spoke with a colleague yesterday who had her daughter 2.5 weeks ago. She had a great birth so was a good person to speak to at this point (as oppose to all the people who want to tell you their nightmares).
It was her first & was 4 hours between waters breaking at home & delivery. She was in no rush to get to hospital so had a shower & bacon buttybefore setting off. When she got to hospital & was examined she was 5cm so they moved her to a labour room. 30 mins later - she said about 6 contractions & 6 puffs of gas & air she delivered.
A little tear but nothing that needed stiching.
An hour later her mum arrived & she was having a sandwich & cup of tea.
That will do for me (as long as OH makes it back from work)! But what will be & all that. Ultimately as long as baby & I are OK I will deal with whatever comes my way.
Look forward to some birth annoucements later.0 -
Happy due date TTC40 and Miffymoo!
Been awake since 7, having tightenings every 6-7 minutes, they are reasonably painful - definitely couldn't sleep through them. Not sure if things are starting of not, i've not really had braxton hicks etc v much at all so am unsure lol.
