Hope the GTT goes ok today BigZ.

Rummer, I've been doing spinningbabies inversions since I was around 16w so I doubt bouncing on the ball will do any harm at all :) if anything it'll help strengthen your legs or something like that which you might end up needing if you find the best position to birth baby is squatting.

Baba - what a bargain, hope he gets to wear it :)

Good luck to all the boldies, hope things get moving for you today or have done overnight.

AFM - have woken up with my entire left nostril full of blood, looks like I had a nosebleed in the night grr. I think it's the change in weather that's doing it as the same thing happened last February. It's more an annoyance than anything and I've just read up that they're more prevalent in pregnancy as the vessels in your nose expand due to the extra blood in your system grr. More water for me, more peeing, oh joy how I love more peeing hrumph!

Funny thing happened this morning though, OH woke me up to give me my tablets (I forget otherwise) and smoothie, I went to sit up like a normal person but a very small persons leg/foot was in the way, so I had to do a beached whale type roll to get myself into seated position. It's the first time in my life I've felt fat :( but at least it'll all go in 2 months time, well most of it anyway.

Booked in for my 'flu jab on Saturday 2nd, I've never had one before as I've never been at risk and too tight/lazy to sort out paying for one. :o Does it knock you for six at all or is it OK? I'm only asking as I'm supposed to be going out with my friends that evening on a rare girl's night and don't want to be feeling even more grotty than I do normally! :o

I had mine on Sat morning and I was fine that day - I forgot I'd had it done. I was really tired the following day though and had to have a snooze in the afternoon!

Nope. Still here and getting loads of texts. And I mean loads. I have, however, had the worst night's sleep I've had in ages. Every time I laid down I felt like my bump was going to burst as it was so tight. The pain made me feel really sick. I have spoken to the hospital who have said that I am in early labour but the tightening a have been going on for days now. Having said that, last night is the first time I've been kept awake by them, so who knows?? Will be heading out for a walk in a bit to get things moving. Don't hold your breaths though!!

Kerri - I love the beached whale type roll lol it's the only way I can get out of bed.

Just got to get myself through another 2 hours this morning, about 5 hours tonight and a final 4 hours tomorrow morning and I will have finished work :) I can not wait!!!! Early mornings and me do not mix well anymore.

Cloudy - I'm a little bit sad thinking of these things lol. Birdie: I'm quite a sentimental gal and as BST ending is never on the same date each year, I know if I was awake at the time he was born, a year later, I wouldn't know if it would be 1:15 or 2:15! Dd1 was born at 2:34am so this could possibly happen lol.

Cloudy: Lol I'm trying to evict my little man now, which I said I wouldn't do, because DD's have a PD day Friday then half term. Plus dd1 always has her birthday off as she was born very beginning of June and it's great for parties! Think half term is later this year than usual?

COMP: will keep my fingers crossed for you. Good luck!

Kerri: ouch to nose bleed! Hehe to beached whale - know what you mean. I find I have to do a 10-point-turn manoeuvre just to roll over in bed.

Wow - I can't believe all the action that's going to happen over the next week! I keep checking to see who is going to be first to announce as there are so many of you in early labour or gonna pop any time now! Its exciting!!!

And then there will be a big clear out on the boards and I will be in single figures on the list

Think we need some more newbies joining!! Its going to be awful quiet otherwise ;) Welcome to all the newbies who have popped on to say hello tho :hello:

Amy - I'm so not far behind you with work! I have 4 days left now, 4 hours each day. I actually can't wait to finish now, I'm getting tired and work is quite frankly something I can easily do without :o It doesn't help that I've had a horrid couple of things to do before leaving, so the days have been hard work as well.

I am very much looking forward to having half term off with DD and doing some girlie things together before baby arrives :D She was an absolute PITA with her behaviour last week, but after several big conversations and a couple of punishments, we are totally back on track and shes been an angel since the weekend :A I do very much hope that good behaviour continues over the next few weeks! Shes back with her dad this afternoon until Monday so I am keeping fingers firmly crossed that my angel returns and not a devil ready for Halloween!

I think my nesting has well and truly kicked in since the nursery decoration the other week!! I now want to clean (and I mean deep clean) everything in sight and I want to wash and iron everything, and decorate everywhere to make things 'fresh'. I've written myself some lists of things to be getting on with over the next few days, but physically I don't think I can cope with what my head wants me to do as my back and pelvic pain flares up the more I do. I can't believe how strong the cleaning urges are - its sooooooooo not like me :rotfl:

but I can assure you that I have a reaction every year after having the flu jab. My body, with all it's weird and wonderful conditions, is not normal though ;)

I can't have the flu jab because I have an egg allergy... was an unexpected thing to be restricted from having, but hey ho...

I think I'm going to finally get around to looking at decorating my nursery today. Do you see that? 'Looking at' decorating... not just decorating... It's almost like I know I'm too lazy...

We're all building up to Halloween to hatch a coven of babies... Hairy werewolves and little witches. And a bargain cat ;)

Hope there is more movement today for folks! I can imagine any queue jumpers getting lynched at this rate, hehe :)

    xx

p.s. I'm not ready to be bold yet, I still have things on my to do list.

Just reading through the info about Vitamin K...is anyone not giving it to their child as they're vegetarian? Looks like theirs no alternative as it's bovine.
