I have read that using a breast pump could help to start labour off, is this another crazy wifes tale or is there some truth in it? Cos the whole orgasms to start off contractions hasn't worked

It's the stimulating of the nipples that's meant to help start it off, like trying to tell your body the baby is here and he wants milk or something like that anyway. What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
It says nipple stimulation is a possible trigger in my book. Most first time mums go about 10 days late though, I'd try some more relaxing baths as your uterus muscles will be optimum if you are relaxed and not tense about being "late" xxDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Happy due date, nene!
Still here.... also frustrated about the stop/starting. I feel a bit like the boy who cried wolf - "ooh, contractions. No, wait... they have stopped" lolDon't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Morning Ladies,
Brunettegirl hope things start properly for you soon and all this fustration is soon a distant memory as you'll have your little one in your arms.
Absolutely cream crackered, I need to learn that a six months pregnant lady can not do the same things that a not pregnant lady can do. Had friends round saturday night which was lovely but spent two hours stood up baking and then cleaned the house, by the time they got to ours i was shattered! and both times i tried to nap yesterday family came round which was lovely but unexpected, must remember my house is on the way to places lol
We bought our pram yesterday too - got a Babystyle Oyster as we have a Yaris so not much boot space. in a way i'm glad we had that restriction, otherwise I'd never have been able to choose! Was really pleased when the lady demonstrated it at how easy it is to fold and clib seats in and out of the chassis. Got a Britax car seat with it as it was reduced and came with the adaptors and a lovely claret colour pack which had been reduced to £5!
Everyone kept asking us about names and I was so good and didn't spill the name we've chosen. I said it would be her name unless we thought of something better but I've become quite attached to it and get irrationally upset if I think of other names we like as it's her name now lol we've decided to instead have a shortlist of names we both like just in case she doesn't look like the name we've chosen lolLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6
Completed on house September 2013

Ooh that cake sounds delicious! Think I will get my husband to stop at the supermarket on the way home for lemon curd and make it later
So I supposedly have a week to go. I finally packed my hospital bag yesterday (before everything was just chucked on top of it!), backed and put up the nursery curtains and washed every item of clothing in the house. Now I plan to spend the next week watching quality TV programmes such as Extreme Couponing and Criminal Minds
Sleep is getting worse and worse so I have just given up now!0 -

thankfully I didn't have this first time around, my little boy came when I expected him too, shame his brother is so naughty!
Never crossed my mind dates would be out and I would go over...
