Thanks, don't be sorry though hopefully I will feel better soon. Just hope I can get this out of the way before I get to full term! Feel worse about the fact my son has caught my lurgy so hasn't been sleeping for past few nights, its been one of my worst chest infections in a while I really feel for him as I imagine its quite scary when you are 3 :(

So you should be proud of what you have achieved! Its amazing how much work it is sorting these rooms! I've got a photostream I keep adding pics to of purchases/ progress of room etc that I share with DH while he is away, I added some pics of the room last week and in its current state tonight. Although it still feels like theres a long way to go I just cannot believe the difference in a week! Wish I would have taken a photo several months back it was basically the dumping room when we moved in so was full of boxes/ random bits of junk! I put 4 items on ebay out of the room that my son had outgrown or things I hadn't used, the auctions ended tonight and I made £52 :D so pleased! x

Well done you! That's brilliant. Just do a little at a time as it really takes it out of you, especially if you're feeling below par.

I really hope you and DS feel better soon xx

Hope you feel better soon, KScarlet :)

I have been awake since 5am. Not quite the lie in I was hoping for, but never mind. It will give me more time to get all of the jobs done I have been putting off- it's so weird to think that the baby could come at any time so I want to stay organised! Although I am sure I will be overdue...
  • Lovely name, Lobey. Hope Amelie gets into a good sleeping pattern very soon for you.

I thought we would be overrun by birth announcements in October seeing as so many of us are full term. We need some fresh blood on this board or there will barely be anyone left once our babies finally come!

IHateDida - cannot believe your LO is almost 4 months! It really doesn't feel like that long ago since we were waiting on your birth news.
    Xx

Hope you feel better soon kscarlet, your nursery sounds how our dining room is and I'm working my way through it slowly. I've done our one, need to go through doing round two this week culling off more stuff. It's full of craft bits and bobs, I think I have 4 boxes of "scrap" material whoops

still here and have totally lost the will.
this stop starting is driving me crazy, is it something I am doing or not doing that is making it stop start???

why why why hasn't he come already
oh goes back to work tmrw, which means I am back on the nursery run and all those bloody annoying smug women asking stupid questions.
Half term on Friday and I really wanted some time with baby while nursery was still on.
I don't think I could be more depressed.....

I need to start saving so I plan to save £2 a week to start with:beer:

Hugs BrunetteGirl xx I'm sorry I really don't know what to advise, is there anyone else who can do nursery run or could you keep your LO off a couple of days? Mind you you probably need a break xx

Thanks all for well wishes, was up with my son lots and feeling terrible myself however we've both just woken! 11am!!! Probably works out an average night bearing in mind the disturbed sleep!

Lovely name Lobey! Hope you are doing ok x

Lol Kerri sounds like us having to do the room in 'rounds' as there's so much to sort. I'm hoping to do the office too while on leave that's a mixture of paperwork and craft bits! X
Trying to save for a deposit
    4000/ 10000 saved so far..
  • Brunettegirl - big hugs. I know what you mean about the stop-starting, it's very confusing and annoying. Luckily mine seem to be getting a little stronger/longer each time but they just seem pointless if nothing comes of it. As you are 40+4, what is your hospitals plan for you? I get to go to 41wks then a membrane sweep then 3 days later, an induction. It will be any day/hour for you now hun. Will keep my fingers crossed that we've heard a birth announcement from you in the next 24hrs. Xx

  • well just got back from a 2 mile walk took 2 hours, maybe that will help?! Guess I will just have to deal with the evil women tmrw, worse things happen at sea eh?! just never thought I would go over
Not helping that my m/w is on her hols and there seems to be some indecision about when she is back and no real cover while she is away. the joy of living in the sticks I guess. Another m/w advised they won't talk to me about induction till 30th!!!! aarrggghhhh....

Not sure if this has been posted, but I just bought this - baby monitor for £13.33

No.1's monitor broke, didn't bother with number 2, but wish I had got one as kept poking head in room. At this price can't go wrong!

  • If anyone works out a way of explaining to the bumps that there is no exit via the belly button/hips/ribs no matter how persistent they are... even if they try all three at the time... can they let mine know please?!

    Lovely name lobey :):)
