    Congrats Lobey.

Lily - Tuesday is my due date. Thankfully no private appts since a scan at about 8 weeks.

8 NHS scans though between weeks 12 & 39. I've been well monitored by 'our' consultant. Hoping the next time I see him is when I am on the ward with my baby.

    Congratulations Lobey! Xx

Vic apparently you aren't meant to wear underwired bras. In my last pregnancy I had so many bra fittings as I kept finding bras uncomfortable. I did go for wire free bras from 20 weeks but this time I haven't bothered! I've just measured myself at home and ordered a few normal tshirt bras with wires! Might be worth getting fitted for a nursing bra, I think I went to M&S last time they were good at recommending a bra with a bit of give so that once my milk came in it still fit! Sounds like you have a busy weekend planned, I think hitting 34 weeks has sent us both a bit crazy! I must get the rest of the wall stickers up this weekend xx

Our baby girl arrived this afternoon weighing 7lbs 14 oz. no name yet as I was convinced she would be a he! Waterbirth in the end which was fairly straightforward but didn't unfortunately tear. Waiting for the anaesthetic to wear off now! But totally over the moon :)
    Congratulations!

    Congratulations Lobey!!!! :beer::beer::j:j:j
    Thrilled for you :)

Was feeling totally fed up but Lobey's news has cheered me up :D. Sweep attempt again today and she couldn't reach the membranes this time. Be gutted after all this if they can't induce me next week. Was so hoping not to have to arrange a section.

OK so the more I think about it the less I want to breastfeed.
Very tempted by Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep machine. Anybody seen any good deals on it. I have some Argos vouchers and it is the same price there as it is in Toys R Us and Amazon. (79.99).
Also was wondering how often filters need changing?
And can you use any bottles or do they have to be Tommee Tippee ones? Edit: Just watched a video on it and it takes most bottles. ;)
With DS I used to make bottles before bed and just warm as necessary but tbh, depending on how long the bottle had cooled affected how long they took to warm. Sometimes we overheated them and so had to wait for it to cool. Not great when baby's screaming for a feed lol

@FluffySox - I'd be interested to know that as I have the full set of Avent stuff, but this could come in handy!

No more 'contractions/early labour' here, so fingers crossed she's staying in for now!

Another question - bikini wax? Not full Brazillian, just anything outside pants, yes or no?

I want to be a bit tidier, but if I have a episiotomy, I don't want uncomfy regrowth!! But I can't see it to just trim! Lol

Just a quick question ladies (can you tell I'm starting to panic?) when should I be fitted for a nursing bra? Someone also told me today that I shouldn't be wearing my normal under wired bras?! They're still comfy...

There was a maternity/nursing bra specialist at the breastfeeding workshop I went to the other day and she recommended to get measured at 36 weeks for nursing bras. She also recommended to not wear wired bras late on in pregnancy however I can't remember from what week.
