We are getting a bit carried away with the tidying and have now started to rearrange the furniture in the living room. We have a chair that will be ideal for breastfeeding and hubby suggested moving the room around so that it is in a better position to see the TV
It is so thoughtful of him.
He was also talking about how we can arrange the nursery which has made me feel very happy. It is lovely to hear him planning things and thinking about what to do to make the house the best for our growing family. My DD is also keen to make suggestionsTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Hugs Brunettegirl being overdue is so frustrating I hated going 2 weeks over last time xx
Hope you enjoyed your last day BabaMoose! X
I was planning on going to MW appt then onto work but the MW told me to stay home as I was too illMW also said baby is 3/5 engaged but that's normal for a second baby so that explains the low pressure. I came home and rested for a while then decided to sort baby's room. Sorted all clothes into sizes, put all bigger stuff in boxes labelled. Almost filled the wheelie bin with rubbish! Got a bag or two for charity and 4 items to eBay. There's still lots more to do but I feel relieved I've made a start! Can't wait to see it finished
How can you tell if baby is engaged? Sorry for the thick questionedit: notes say 4/5 eng.

Hi everyone,
Sorry I've not posted for ages. It was my DD's anniversary on Monday so, understandably, a very tough time. The days leading up to it were far worse than the actual date which is a change from usual. I've been very weepy this week but DS turns 2 on Sunday so I'm trying to focus on him at the moment.
Had to go in for monitoring a couple of days ago - got chatting to a lady who was 28 weeks with twins whilst I was there. She said she'd just come back from an ultrasound and they'd estimated both to be approx. 3lb....at 28 weeks....TWINS! This poor woman was literally enormous. Everything seemed okay with my baby though and they let me go home.
Hope you are all doing well. I turn 30 weeks tomorrow and in a funny sort of way it's flown by and dragged at the same time. Good luck to everyone who is in labour/has had their baby recently. Can't believe we're nearly in November. That is so scary. I'm really keen to hear updates from a few ladies who I spent a long time with on the TTC thread - especially those who are due at the same time I would have been. I will keep my eyes open for them.
Big hugs to everyone, I think of you all often.

Good to hear from you Lily.
Can't imagine how you deal with your feelings, but hope you had good support.

Great to hear from you again lily. I can't believe you're at the 30 weeks mark now! How is baby measuring now? You were so lovely to me on the TTC thread so I always look out to see if you've posted. Sorry you've been through a tough time...hugs xxDS born November 2013 :smileyhea0

Thanks. She is still small but growing and that's all I can ask for. I am guessing (perhaps optimistically) 6lb 11oz at birth
TTC - I drove past Thornbury the other day and it made me think of you. You're 10 weeks ahead of me...you must be due In the next few days! Very glad you are being allowed to go naturally
I forgot to say, my new iCandy is being delivered on Wednesday :j I'll take a pic of it all set up for anyone who was asking about it a couple of weeks ago. I'm really looking forward to having a pushchair again...walking everywhere with DS has been a nightmare.14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
Just a quick question ladies (can you tell I'm starting to panic?) when should I be fitted for a nursing bra? Someone also told me today that I shouldn't be wearing my normal under wired bras?! They're still comfy...DS born November 2013 :smileyhea0

Woman at mothercare told me to get measured about 2 weeks before my due date for nursing bras. And she also told me off when I was still wearing under wired bras at 20 weeks, so i'm guessing that means that your not supposed to wear them.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Our baby girl arrived this afternoon weighing 7lbs 14 oz. no name yet as I was convinced she would be a he! Waterbirth in the end which was fairly straightforward but didn't unfortunately tear. Waiting for the anaesthetic to wear off now! But totally over the moon0
