Good luck to all those ladies in the middle/start of labour

I have been incredibly busy today clearing the nursery and it is almost clear :j next step is to sell the furniture and get it painted. It is such a huge relief to finally have it started. My hubby now refers to it as the nursery all the time instead of the dining room which makes me smile.

We are decluttering the house so that it is organised for the baby coming.

Oh we have been putting it off for MONTHS and moaning about it and actually getting it done has been a relief and not half as awful as we thought it would be. Plus I now don't have it hanging over me :j

Well it NEEDS to be done this weekend. Due in just over 5 weeks and have nothing sorted.

I was planning on going to MW appt then onto work but the MW told me to stay home as I was too ill MW also said baby is 3/5 engaged but that's normal for a second baby so that explains the low pressure. I came home and rested for a while then decided to sort baby's room. Sorted all clothes into sizes, put all bigger stuff in boxes labelled. Almost filled the wheelie bin with rubbish! Got a bag or two for charity and 4 items to eBay. There's still lots more to do but I feel relieved I've made a start! Can't wait to see it finished

My DH seems to think paternity leave means 'PS3 leave' he keeps saying he is planning on completing GTA5 and the new COD... I think I will be banned from this forum if I post my reply!! MEN!!

Time to set some ground rules I think ladies!! I told DH he could do whatever he wanted as long as the house was tidy, there was food in the house and he helped with the baby. I'm pretty lucky with my DH he is pretty nifty around the house. When the baby comes they are usually different, you can't help but watch them sleep and you just want to cuddle them so just walk around safe in the knowledge that our wii and xbox 360 have barely been touched since we had our DD1 in March 2012. DH hasn't really had the urge to play with either
