I think I just got a bit overwhelmed with everything and its really starting to seem more real now, I know it's strange but it still feels very surreal and I can't believe we are actually going to have a real baby in a couple of weeks time! Feeling a bit better and less anxious today though.
I think sometimes a good cry is what we need, and sounds like if they wouldn't stop and you didn't know why you were crying that you were overdue a good sob... It's one of the joys of being pregnant, we get to break down and have a tantrum without anyone raising an eyebrow  I think we should embrace it... do it in supermarkets... gather an audience.
Glad you are feeling less anxious today and hope it continues. You know you have us all here to vent to when you need to - as we'll all take turns to vent back at each other
I'm due a breakdown in the next week or so I reckon... unfortunately it might be at the end of next week as I start mat leave on Friday (at 39wks). I hope I don't make a fuss of myself in front of everyone... I also hope my waters don't break whilst at work...!
I've never heard of the sugar thing and bad skin, might give that a go. I know dairy products cause absolute havoc with my skin but cutting out (down on) sugar might be a good step... hmmmm!0 -
Gosh, how did I get in the twenties!!! OH has just told me I'm definitely pregnant now...urm well durrrrr, but there can't be less than 30 people ahead of me, there just can't! I'm already telling people to stop counting down until Christmas
7 weeks left of work though
Sugar in face masks is homemade face masks is meant to be quite good for exfoliating, but I definitely break out after pizza, cola and chocolate when OH is away.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Re the hormonal breakdowns... I cried for a good hour this morning over pretty much nothing. Poor DH! I had told him earlier in the week that i was feeling a bit rubbish about being in the house all the time, would be nice to get out etc etc. Today was our first day off together since then and I hoped he might've planned something. I asked him what we were doing today and he was like 'hmm nothing?'. Cue crying and 'you dont understand what its like' *sob* 'you dont care' *sob*. Poor guy said he just thought i might appreciate a duvet and dvd day as i haven't really been sleeping so was trying to be considerate - oops!
Was awake for 3 hours last night having quite painful tightenings so feeling especially tired and hormonal today

That's really interesting as I do like the odd glass of pepsi/ coke and as I try to avoid aspartame I always go for the full sugar versions. I will try avoid drinking them. I do drink a lot of squash (full sugar) too x
I can't remember who was asking about baby bath products but we just used water in early weeks as my son has very sensitive skin. We had some products prescribed which I didn't rate. We used olive oil for his dry skin then moved onto weleda bath products. We've also used pure potions and more recently 'mini naked' that I got in boots. I really like the mini naked range. We found Johnson's baby too aggressive on his sensitive skin.Trying to save for a deposit

Hmmm, is it bad that in roughly a week I'll have another child, our first boy, and it hasn't actually sunk in yet? it just feels like I'm getting fat. I'm in for such a shock when he does arrive :rotfl:
The inside of my thighs kills after bouncing on my ball! I guess its one of those muscles you don't really use so hurt like hell when they are for the first time in ages :rotfl:What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
Very many congratulations to Cleofish - she is absolutely beautiful. Hope you are settling in nicely at home now
Big congratulations also to Marie - have you got a name chosen yet?
Lemonmelon - so pleased to see you back across here :j:j I do worry for some of you ladies!!
Thank you for the advice re moses basket bedding the other day. I managed to pick up a set from ebay for £10 which matches my nursery theme so I am very happy with my purchase in the end :T
I finally got the nursery finished!!!! :j:j:j:j
This is what I started with (told you I was a big hoarder)
And this is what its finished up like. Still got a couple more bits to sort - nursing chair to be brought up from the garage and a blind to buy/fit. But I am >super< pleased with progress :j
