  • Congratulations Bride and Jessima! Yay more babies! Xxx

I've gained 5lbs so far (30 weeks) I seemed to lose weight and change shape in early weeks. I'm finding maternity clothes in my size too big so I've been buying a smaller size. I'm eating loads so I'm guessing I will gain loads over next few weeks. I was over a stone lighter after my last pregnancy but I then gained it (and some more) eating badly! I really don't want to make that mistake again so will be eating sensibly once baby is here.

Kerri I would put a girl in blue/ boys clothes and I will be this time! I've bought some girly outfits too but it doesn't bother me. My son has worn pink vests/ sleepsuits too!

Congratulations Benice, jessima and B2B

On the weight gain topic, don't worry about it too much ladies. I remember when DS was born, I was just over a stone lighter after I got home from hospital. So baby plus waters plus a bit of blood gone. My feet and ankles were very swollen as my body was getting rid of excess fluids, noticed I needed to pee lots as swelling went down once home. Ten days after birth over a stone and a half had gone. I'd gained a bit under 3 stone. Another half a stone went in the first month. The last stone came off gradually but easily. Once recovered from C-section I walked as much as I could pushing pram instead of using car. Also did aqua-fit to get my strength back. Helped that DS was a Summer baby tho. I've not gained as much this time (yet lol) but can see myself using car more in Winter. Mind you DS will keep me active too. Been playing football today- not something I would have been doing before he came along, never mind at 8 months pregnant ;)

Was at a Christening today and everyone was asking when baby is due. Since I don't want to discuss planned sweeps and inductions with everyone I meet I found it quite stressful.
36+5. First sweep a week on Tuesday :0 Must get the hospital bags packed this week. And make childcare arrangements. Getting very real now.

Fed up of not being able to sleep through the night. This time because my maternity bed mat is making my left side all sweaty! Is there any point in these really?! I doubt my waters will even break in bed and have potentially 5 weeks still to go. I think I'm going to take it off and sulk watching OH sleeping smugly as I get back to sleep in time for his work alarm to go off :( 36+6
  • Im awake having pains about 10 mins apart, no show and baby is still moving infact it has the hiccups currently. Sat downstairs as im frustrated that OH is asleep and i am not.
Ive got a bed mat on only because with my 2nd my waters did break on my bed.

Sometimes i like to imagine that im living on the breadline as a single mum with 3 children to feed and clothe, bills to pay and very little time to myself........ then i wake up and realise im a princess with prince charming by my side and a lovely white castle........ oh wait

I hope something's happening for you and that baby either decides to make an appearance soon or you manage to get some sleep :grouphug:

No sleep here either, non-stop kicking for hours so I just can't get comfortable

    Congratulations bride2be.

Lobey, what about folding double a large bath sheet and sleeping on that?

    Labour vibes Luciferswench.

Had horrible dreams last night and woken up in a right grump, broke OHs alarm clock as he forgot to turn it off at 6:30am not impressed. Baby was kicking at 5am waking me up, cats yowling for no reason but they're bored, grrrr don't they all know I'm not a morning person.
