Well my little girl arrived the early hours of Sat morning! Abigail Marie, 7lb 6oz. Home now, but still tired and sore after forceps delivery. Will post full birth story once I have time! Congrats to all the other births too.

my big tip is to take a jug with you. It takes away the sting when you pee afterwards if you pour the jug over you at the same time. The pain of peeing still takes it out of me a little now!

B2B I'm so so pleased for you. If I'm right she has come at the right time for your dh to have some time with her after the debacle with work? wishing you a speedy recovery. Always loved the name Abigail x .kerri I meant to reply earlier about girls in blue. I wouldn't be too bothered to be honest. I was given some items too and whilst most are neutral some friends of my Oh had accidentally left some girlie items in ours. I've washed and kept them as I figure as they are sleepsuits he can wear them for bed where no one will see him Defo worth keeping things I'd say.

ok ive done a bit of an update to the list since the flurry of new babies. please let me know if ive missed anything or got anything wrong!

massive congrats to all of the new mums!

only 2 weeks to go before I finish work and cant wait! so ready to be finished up now, not that im feeling bad or anything, just that time when the countdown is almost done and im winding down.

good luck to those with arrivals imminent!

sorry to hear some are struggling to sleep, im up a few times a night myself, mostly to pee but i seem to drop off again pretty quickly. fortunately baby kicking the stuffing out of me isnt keeping me awake at night....im not as heavy a sleeper as i was before but im really glad its not keeping me up!

Mega jealous of those who haven't put on any weight! I'm just over two stone heavier than pre prego but can just about fit into same size maternity jeans. Maybe a big baby?! Am getting a bit fed up with the bump judgers, the worst being my mum who is coming to stay tomorrow and every time she sees me tells me I'm carrying a lot of water! How she's noticed this and the midwives haven't ill never know. Grrrr!

Oh tell me about it. I forgot how annoying being pregnant can be, all people do is comment on your bump.


Went to a family party last night and its like a broken record! I know people mean well and it's nice they are showing an interest but after the 100th time of hearing the same bump related comments over and over......

Im 3 stone heavier from the start of having DS (now 13months) so hopefully major diet after this one. I only had a 4 month gap ish from getting pregnat again and new it was gonna happen so I wasnt overly bothered about losing loads....

Want to get back to my orignal weight if not a stone ligher...hopefully... we can all dream?

Can't belive im 9th on the list its really hit me now that its coming.
