    Minimuffin12 - good luck!

Fluffysox - 28 weeks for Whopping cough at doctors, I had a letter through for Anti-d with midwife at hospital. I thought you only needed the Anti-d once, with your first?

Had my 30 week scan yesterday as Placenta was low at 20 weeks, it all looks fine now, Yay!!! Have a lovely photo of baby yawning, bean would not move at all, laid back like its mum!! Had to go for another walk, if that failed then it was going to be internal... I am all set for full exposure when the baby slides on out... but was not quite ready for it yesterday!

Baby is measuring 3 weeks ahead, so have to go back in 4 weeks for another scan! They think its due to me being tall! They also said I can fly... Yay:j! So will be flying to Italy next Saturday!!!

Really dont want bean here 3 weeks early, as havent got anything sorted! Have picked up bits and pieces and managed to order a cot mattress last night! But baby's room is still full of house junk!

This week will be sorting out holiday stuff... then when back sorting out Baby room and stuff... and trying to unpack the house all at the same time!

Massive. I don't know how I could possibly grow any bigger and I still have 4 and a half weeks to go!

I have three months to go and already it's massive, checkout girl asked me today when I was due and couldn't believe it was not for three months. She asked if it was a big baby, I said I think it's me that's big not the baby (ie there's a fat tummy in the way!)

Ah well at least it gives extra cushioning if I fall over or something.

Just been to the MW, all ok, she said my BP was slightly raised but nothing to be concerned about

She won't do a sweep until I'm a week over so I'm booked in for Tuesday for a sweep - altho hoping I won't need it!

She was really vague about what happens after that, she just said on Tuesday we will get a date from the hospital for an induction, I asked when it'd be (i.e 12 days over or 14 days over) and she just said we will worry about that next week!

Is it always 12 days over they let you go?

I feel like I don't really know what's going to happen now!

  • Afternoon,

Sorry i'm such a lurker and not a poster on here most of the time :-/

Hope youre all feeling ok x

I'm plodding along and still feeling fine at the moment which is nice, my hips dont like being in bed on my side which is a nuisance but i could be far worse off.

The itch talk has made me think of the start of pregnancy, i literally scratched myself from head to toe every night, it was awful. I found plastering myself in body lotion helped calm it though.

Yesterdays b&q talk - dont get me started on them - do not order anything for home delivery, i was sent an large order, but they had run out of some stock, and spent 4 weeks chasing until we received them!! Appauling customer service from them! I must say not all branches might be the same, but Swansea is and hormonal pregnant me is not afraid to say it!! Lol.

    30+1
Still here..... but working on that!

I hate how non-commital they are! I've asked them a million times what will happen if...and get told basically to wait and see. Not ideal!!

I have my normal MW tomorrow and the MW at the hospital last week said to ask about a growth scan if I'm concerned that baby's measuring big (which they all keep telling me she is!) so I'm going to say that she told me to ask rather than I'm just asking.

If it's just a case of the baby measuring big and that's it then I'll manage but I wish they'd stop saying it or at least say what they plan to do about it if it keeps happening! If they will just let me to go to DD+ then fine, if they'll want to induce at DD that's fine too but I just need to bloomin' know!

Claree I know exactly what you mean, its not like I'm expecting them to say your baby will arrive on the 12th at 6.03pm or anything!

I went to my apt alone so called OH after to let him know and he's asking questions that I only have vague answers to because I was only given vague answers so he thinks I'm just not interested!

Picked my parcel up last night, called again today to complain.

Apparently the driver came at 12.33pm but couldn't get access to the building. He then scanned a card at 13.46 and posted it to me.

So I got the security guy in here to check the CCTV (he wasn't busy!) and no parcelforce van turned up at all. Once I told them this it changed to "oh..right...I'll need to get someone to call you back..." - that was about half 1ish, still waiting!

I didn't actually pay for delivery and it was a free phone number so I'm not sure what I actually want out of them - just admission that they're !!!!!

I'm taking OH with me tomorrow as back up 'cause I know I'll just be like "oh, okay" and he'll step in and ask again :D
