I've had aches and tightenings since about 35 weeks, don't know if that helps or scares people! Been in slow labour for over a week too.
Induction tomorrow so I'll see you on the other side ladies0 -
Goodluck sparkles!!
Apparently you normally get stronger braxton hicks and things in the last few weeks, I didn't last two pregnancies but definitely am this time!

Hey all
Terrible hayfever for me too! Can't beige there's nothing I can take, just got to suffer it. Ended up having to leave work because I felt so awful, feel bad but its the first time off sick I've had with pregnancy. Gonna take the week off and recover I think- only meant to be in till Thursday. And I'm another one that assumed one big sneeze and the baby pops out?!
Getting lots of wriggly movements now, can actually feel limbs moving across my tummy!0 -
That is how babies come out isn't it? Just one big sneeze and it pops out I thought!???

I was going for the magic birth where you wake up and they are magically there!
No pain and no worries about getting to hospital in time (my biggest fear is being at home alone when baby decides to appear).
I have 12 hours to decide my maternity leave date... Ladies when did you take yours?
I'm thinking 36wks as that gives me a month to sort the house or rest. Plus I'm shattered after just one day back at work... 5 more weeks might do me in.If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0 -
NoAngel, and others struggling with hayfever. I ended up getting the Prevalin nasal spray after asking advice here a few weeks ago. I wouldn't say it's as effective as the good old drugs but it definitely helps! Totally safe during pregnancy (no steroids etc like some nasal sprays)

I am starting mat leave at 36 weeks, which is two weeks into Autumn term (so I'll have had 6 weeks off beforehand). Last time I had Easter hols (2 weeks) plus 3 weeks maternity. Of course I do have a two year old to keep me busy when I finish work.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

I took mat leave from 35 weeks last time and this time. I found by that time I was getting very tired in work mid-afternoon, this way I can have a sleep in the afternoon. Mind you the nearly 4yr old sometimes need convincing that he should have a rest too
Last time I only got tightnings from bout 35 weeks this time I have had them most days from 24 weeks.
Can't wait for c/sect now to have it all over and done with. Glad this is the last time for us. 2 will be enough for us'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Just a quick note to say, only leave nice, easy jobs til your maternity leave. Try to get big stuff- including shopping trips done beforehand. Last time I was expecting I was kept really busy (and stressed) at work and told myself I could think baby once I finished. On my penultimate day at work the five of us in my dept were all told that one of us would be made redundant. The first week of my holiday was spent completing a stupid skills audit form and gathering data. I felt so betrayed. Then I broke my wrist (and sprained the other) in the second week so was unable to do much after that. Walking round shops was not enjoyable as I would get tired pretty quick. I know some people are up ladders painting ceilings at 39 weeks but this time I want to be all sorted by the end of Summer hols. So I can rest and enjoy time with family and friends when mat leave starts.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Well my OH is sorting most thingsand my dad is helpjng decorate, so I can Internet shop if needs must.
I'm shattered but I think going from sick leave to full time was always going to be hard, baby or no baby.If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0
