Hi all, I'm still feeling carp with the cold/hayfever combo going on. Went to chemist to get some piriton earlier and they refused to sell me it, even though I said it was for DH! Maybe my constant sneezing while in the queue gave me away! I was so p'd off I forgot to get more paracetamol while I was there, so I'm struggling on without anything at the moment! Doesn't help I was awake til 2am this morning, then was up being sick, so about to go bak to bed for a nap. When I decided to take my maternity leave early, this really isn't how I'd imagined it lol, I was more thinking roasting hot summer days, chilling with a book in the garden!0

Hi All,
Sorry I have been a bit quiet on here lately!!!! House move and numerous baby stuff!!!
Good labour vibes to minmuffin and sparkles, hope your bundles are here soon.
PP always love your posts, makes us newbies feel better and reassured!!!
Well we finally moved house 2 weeks ago, OH has accumulated quite a load a c**p after living there for 23 years, it all now sitting in the back room!!! Well most of it moved, his work stuff (self employed plumber), massive pile of wood and sheds to move… but that’s his problem!!! I have slowly been making my way through the stuff!! Currently cooking off a 2 ring electric camping stove, fun when the boys are here!!! My new range comes on Thursday, Yay!!! The OH keeps saying I will have to learn how to cook now…. Hes right though!!!
I had my anti-d last Wednesday, I should have been monitoring how active baby was, I was very vague!!! So on the monitor I was put!!! Then had go to the main hospital on the other side of the city on Friday, appointment 10:30…didn’t get to work till 2:15, fuming!!! They then wanted me to come on Sunday, said I couldn’t make it wanted me in on Monday, said I would come first thing Sunday morning, so there for 8:15 am. Was there far too long as baby wasn’t moving much, probably asleep at that time of morning!!!
The next few weeks are full of appointments: 30 week scan and consultant appointment tomorrow afternoon, to see if placenta has moved!! Cousins wedding on Friday about 2 hours away, midwife next Monday and hopefully if the scan is ok tomorrow I get to go my brother in laws weeding in Italy the following Saturday!!!
Babys room is full of stuff, so when I hopefully come back from Italy will need to get that sorted and start ordering some stuff!!!
It seems there are just not enough hours in the day at the momemt!!!
Sorry for long post, just needed to get it off my chest!!! Not stressed out… yet!! I just thought it would make a change from bursting out crying when ever the OH speaks to me!!!!

Afternoon all. Feeling like crap today - feeling sick & faint, seeing stars when I bend down, pain in lower left side of bump... and baby feels like it is pressing on my pants with every footstep. Just feel bleugh.
Nevermind, 9 days left to work and counting! Looking forward to 36 week scan on Thurs as I've never had a late scan before.
Hope everyone's well.Mortgage Aug 22 £280,000

Glad your DD had a good prom PP
Congrats Jenny!
I have my 32 week scan on Thursday (my hospital give you 3 scans as standard - 12, 22 and 32 weeks) so my last chance to see Lil Miss before she hatches.
Unfortunately it looks as if OH is going to have to miss out on this one as we have no childcare for DS, and I know at the moment he just wouldn't be able to cope with waiting around if we are delayed and sitting nicely in whilst the scan is happening.
Hoping she's caught up a bit in the growth department as she was measuring a bit small at my 30 week MW appointment.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Oh and we haven't made a start on our nursery yet either.
I had a minor spazz out at OH over the w/e, and he has started clearing out his boys toys now, but I'm aware of how few weekends we actually have left now.
i've cancelled a load of social weekend things too. harsh but we have to start getting organised.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

We have a wedding this weekend which stresses me out slightly as I wanted to get the carpets ordered. Obviously I won't have a hangover on Sunday but OH will and I'm concerned that's a whole weekend struck off.
I just called him to say I'm getting my nails done tonight and he was a bit miffed as he'd planned on us stripping the wallpaper before the new stuff arrives tomorrow. Have had this planned for a while though so I guess we'll just need to do as much as we can when I get home.
I wish we had another scan planned - I don't want a 3d/4d one though so I guess we'll just have to go without unless they agree to a growth scan which I'm going to ask about on Thursday.
Huge hugs to those feeling crappy. I feel physically okay at the moment but my head's all over the place! The midwife was talking about why baby's are fine when you're carrying them but when you put them down in their cot it's hard to settle 'cause it's strange to them and they're alone and not used to it - I could have cried!

Hey everyone :-)
Hope your scan goes ok MV, your so lucky that you get 3 scans as standard
Labour vibes to the overdue ladies, you must be melting in this heat! I can't believe how quickly I'm going up the list now, pretty soon I will be in the top 10!
I'm getting a lot of tightenings today, and a bit of a bellyache and pressure down below when I walk which is slightly worrying :-/
I also have pretty bad hayfever at the moment, so every time I sneeze it feels like the baby is gonna fall out!
Really not sleeping great in this heat, I'm up every 2 hours at least now which isn't good when you are still expected to work hard all day!
Other than all that (sorry if I sound too moany) I'm loving being pregnant and can't quite imagine not having her inside me :-)
Hope everyone else is well
Baleb

Me too on the tightenings and pains. Think I'd like Pickle to stay put for a week or 2 though so I get to laze around and enjoy this last little spell of being off work and childfree.
