    Thanks for the code bigzippy!

Really suffering with heartburn at the minute, doesn't help that my only real craving has been for cloudy lemonade... Acid ahoy! Not been having too much but the heartburn happens most evenings now anyway :( Has anyone found tablets which taste half decent? On orange rennies just now, which are the best i have found but still rank!

    24+2

I found orange rennies to be the best of a bad bunch!

Although I went to the Drs and was prescribed omeprazole tablets- just take one a day and no acid or indigestion at all :) They work wonders so may be worth going to see Dr, of course they are free too!

I am addicted to Rennies again the moment- just standard mint ones for me. Sorts out the horrendous burning in my throat.

Very productive day here today. MV do you have any family who could give you a break for a couple of hours? We rang round today and it was our 18 yr old nephew who volunteered to have our 2 yr old for the afternoon (his parents were due home shortly too) our little one had a great time throwing a ball into a bucket of water in their garden. We swopped all our 3 bedrooms round which means dismantling beds and reassembling in a different room. Also a thorough clean. We've been sorting out, decluttering etc for months with this move in mind so I'm thrilled with the progress today. So much easier without a 25 month old to entertain :)

    Unfortunately not fluffy :(

OH's parents live about 3 hours drive away and my folks are old and not great health so not able to help. I really envy people who have family nearby who can help them out. My sister and I often say how great it would be if we lived nearer as she has a 4 and nearly 2 year old, but sadly they are in Bristol and we're in London.

Good you managed to get so much done today though. Feels good doesn't it? :)

Dida - how is bubs and you doing?

Another productive day here! Have got all baby things down from the loft and put in what will be the baby's room ready for cleaning/assembling. Forgot how much space baby stuff actually takes up! Also moved all the boys' toys into what is now our spare room so they now have a nice little playroom.

MV DS2 is a tantrum thrower, he is getting better as he is getting older, I just try my best to completely ignore him so he is getting neither positive nor negative attention. He has also figured out I can't pick him up to put him in his room so is playing me up at times.

Aw sorry MV, we are lucky tbh, both our families live locally so we can usually find babysitters easily. Definitely try mums and tots groups tho if you don't use them already x And rest whenever you can- hard when he the nesting instinct kicks in tho isn't it?
And yes I am delighted to have gotten so much done today. Always stuff still to do but big heavy stuff that I have wanted sorted and moved for ages done :)

Dida - how is bubs and you doing?

Get OH to give you your much deserved "me" time MV - after all - you deserve it - tell him to take little one to the park/shops/zoo an not to come home until at least the afternoon - I would! (does that make me cheeky...??:o)

We are doing ok thank you - I still have terrible pain "down below" - the mw who visited yesterday felt so sorry for me as I can barely walk - I sent my OH out for a rubber ring yesterday and its been much better - its a combination of the stitches and piles (the piles are worse!).

We still cannot breastfeed (still expressing - mooooo!;)) - as LO won't latch on properly - possibly due to the tongue tie that she had. We have the local breastfeeding team coming round again today to help/offer advice. But she is eating well (too well) and barely lost any weight when the mw weighed her yesterday - so all good - might turn to formula though if breastfeeding doesn't work out - as she's currently drinking from a cup (to avoid confusion from a bottle) - which is a mega hassle and messy!!!!

    Come on girls....get hatching - Nikki-ann....Minimuffin....Sparkles.... Where's Lovecake???

Glad LO is doing well dida, don't feel bad if breast feeding doesn't work out it's just not meant to be for some babies, you've given her a good start by doing it even for a short time

Any news on any of the due and overdue ladies?? Xxxx

I'm here IHateDida! :) Glad bubs is doing well despite the feeding problems. Hope u get to breastfeed soon or swap to formula so it's easier for u. Hope ur bits heal soon too! My Feme Pads arrived yesterday - don't know if they'll help, but I'll pop them in the freezer so they'll be ready to try after the birth.

Sorry I'm not online as much as usual. Been ripping the old kitchen out, new one was delivered yesterday, fitters start on Monday! Just need baby to stay put til due date!

Hope everyone has a good Sunday! :) x
  • Im still here dida, no hatching done yet- 4days over now. I have another sweep on Wednesday so something better happen then, knowing my luck it won't. Glad all is well with you and lo, piles are horrendous!
