Oh angelmommy I feel your pain, I am not a happy bunny when I'm tired! Maybe some ear plugs would help if you're a very light sleeper?

Lao cat hopefully not much longer for you, it is a very strange feeling not working when you're used to being out of the house most of the day.

I've got my second sweep today, please everyone keep your fingers crossed for me that my cervix is stretchy this time! My dream waterbirth is slipping away with induction looming on Friday! I really really want this sweep to work!

I woke up last night in agony with period type cramps, really thought this could be it but decided to go back to sleep and see what happened in a few hours, this morning they are gone though :-(

    Hope everyone else is well

Fingers well and truly crossed for your baleb, never thought I'd be crossing my fingers that a woman that I don't know has a stretchy cervix :loel:

Got my completely unnecessary scan today and then I really need to double check my hospital bag for Friday and put some stuff in a 2nd bag for coming home. Been meaning to do it all week but something keeps coming up (ie. Extreme Couponing on TLC or other such trash tv!).

My moses basket arrived yesterday but the screw for the hood part doesn't work properly. I don't have time to send it back to Tesco so I've tried complaining on Twitter and hope they'll just send me a new part or partial refund or something, it's not a necessary part of the item anyway, looks just as good without - can you tell I'm refusing to stress about it?

Had a hellish time with Braxton Hicks yesterday. It wasn't SORE as such but seriously uncomfortable - everytime I got a tightening it was accompanied by upper back pain, is that normal?

Considering going for a bikini wax before Friday but it seems a good bit more hassle than it's worth at the moment :rotfl:

toothfairy/miffy/bella - Bit worried the insulator person was dodgy. No one is that forceful when they knock at your door. I told him to come back after 4 as my partner would be back and low and behold he didn't turn up! He did have ID but I didn't look at it. Really irked me though talking to me like I was a child and not the home owner!!

Nessie I replied to your post yesterday and lost it as my internet connection keeps going down. Jacket potatoes are awesome and you can fill them with anything. They are in my pregnancy notes as being a good meal too..although probably not every day. Do you have a slow cooker? That's great too - you can make tea while your at work. I've had to invest in one to stop me eating utter crap all the time. It cost next to nothing so was a great buy and I'll be using it when baby is here cos I doubt I'll have much more energy then either!

MV Please do post pics of the nursery. I'm obsessed with looking at nurseries.

I've been having the funny bladder sensations too. Sometimes I literally feel like I'm going to wet myself. The funny thing is I can be sat down and not feel the need to go at all but then I'll stand up and it's a huge urgency to get to the toilet!

Angelmummy Probably no consolation but I totally feel your pain with the exhaustion. Luckily no one wakes me up and my OH leaves before me at the moment but I just struggle to do the smallest things. I do suddenly get bursts of energy but they are getting few and far between. I'm on my third day of being off sick with it. Last night I was determined to go in today but as soon as I woke up I just felt like I was crippled with this exhaustion. I even cried this morning because of it!!!! My boss suggested yesterday I go to docs like bosses always do and just thought I can't. It means washing my hair, getting dressed and walking and I just can't!

I feel for those who are mothers already because I can't actually look after myself at the moment. I'd be terrible with a child!

Just waiting for Tesco to arrive. He has 5 mins before he's late. Grrrrr, but I really hate pushing a trolley round on my own with the 2 girls in tow so I suppose it makes it easier to have it delivered. Still, any money off would be nice ;)

Can't believe I've got less than 10 weeks left now!! It's going sooo quickly!

  • im so confused with every pain to do with pregnancy lol, im wondering if bad braxton hicks at the moment or in labour, stomach is going hard and baby is still kicking but much lower than normal, infrequent but lasting up to a minute each time and not going away after lying down, what do you reckon, should i be on the phone to the hospital or ride it out a bit longer
Started comping again....Oct wins already!:£250 philosophy goody bag, £50 itunes voucher, £30 amazon voucher.....why did i ever stop!

I do have a slowcooker (actually have 2!) but DH doesn't like most of the food i do in the slowcooker :eek: I do have lots of things in the freezer for me - SW soups etc. but DH won't eat the same - maybe i should just get him to sort himself out? But he is getting awfully moody recently as he feels he is doing everything - making me feel like i should be doing more but then saying i have an excuse so its ok - drives me nuts

You will NOT be terrible with a child - you are just going through a bad patch - it WILL get better
Have you spoken to midwife? Have you had your bloods done recently? Could you be aneamic (sp?)?

Hospital will tell you to take a paracetamol and a nice warm bath to see if the pains go away.

But trust me, you'll know when you're in labour as with each contraction you won't be able to move. (Well I couldn't anyway :rotfl: )

try the tablets and bath and see if the pain goes. if not, then ring labour :)
