Baby girl due September 20130 -
Does anyone else get a strange pressure sensation on their bladder? I'm pretty sure it's baby's head pressing down, or maybe my pelvic floor has completely gone on me, but I feel this strange twingeing sensation very low down in my pelvis from time to time. It doesn't hurt but just feels very twingey.
I've begun to need to go to the loo about a million times a day, but when I do I'm not peeing as much as I'd have thought I would be, so I think perhaps the baby is competing with my bladder for space in my pelvis?
Other than that, all good, nearly 33 weeks now so feeling like I'm on the home stretch and much as I quite like being pregnant, beginning to feel like I'm ready for the end to come now!0 -
Yep, i am usually ok until i stand up (gravity i guess lol) then i feel like my bladder is full to capacity. Off to the loo and out comes a small dribble... The joys!0

Feeling ready for baby now, went to Asda last night and stocked up on moses basket sheets, hooded towels, blankets.
Sorted DD1s school shoes, so she can now officially start school. I have got everything for her.
Got all the maternity pads, lotions, potions, newborn nappies, cotton wool etc.
Spent today tidying my back garden, cleaning all the outdoor toys and putting them in the shed. Also took out DD2s car seat and put the cover through the wash, it's second stage so she is staying in it, but it was looking grubby and actually smelt when I took the cover off:(:(
Made up my moses basket, put all the baby thing washed and ready in their drawers in my room next to the moses basket.
Might treat myself to getting the car valeted, going to see how I feel at the weekend.
Need to pack a hospital bag, but don't have anything suitable size, also realised I don't have a changing bag as my last one did the girls but was ripped so I chucked it out. Will sort at the weekend. Not too worried as I've got things I could use, just would like a suitable changing bag /hospital bag. Can't remember what I used last time, think a rucksack.OPs so far £42,139

an9i77 - Yes, I get similar. I'm sure baby is constantly sitting on my bladder and I'm always feeling the urge to go. This is not my favourite part of pregnancy!
Bangton - That's terrible! I would have done the same thing. They can't just expect to come in
Baby's cot and mattress arrived today and double buggy arriving tomorrow. It's all coming together nicely. Still need to make space in DDs room though.
30 weeks today. 10 to go!0 -
OH is as we speak painting the 2nd coat on the baby's new nursery. I really think it's going to look lovely. I have painted up an old chest of drawers we had and a cute cupboard I bought from eBay sometime ago.
I'll post some pics when it is all finished
If anyone else wants to post up some nursery pics, I'd love to see themMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
30 weeks today. 10 to go!
Ditto twinny!
Ordered the Tommy Tippee Esssentials bottle/ steriliser set today via the Mothercare app. It was £69.99 & then £10 off for first order on the app. I will be trying BFing but want to be ready in case I change (& I will need them at some point). It's about £67 on Amazon.
Friend has kindly offered to buy the monitor so I have convinced her to save £10 by ordering via the app too - I'm :money:for everyone!
Hoping to order nursery furniture at the weekend. Looked at some last week but not too impressed. Like the look of the M&S set but the nearest place it is on show is an hour away so we'll go on Sunday. The website says 5 week delivery, so need to order if that's what we are having.
Got a decorator coming next week to do the nursery - the benefit of OH having no DIY skills (& me being limited) is that I don't have to try to get him to do it. The downside is that we get a bill at the end!
Sleeping is difficult - I always toss & turn which isn't easy when I have to remember to take baby with me!
Thanks for the Tesco tip. I have some Clubcard points so may convert some to spend on baby stuff.
A few people have said there won't be anything for them to buy, but haven't directly asked me what they can buy. I don't want to assume people will ask & also many things I want to get sorted so am not going to wait. I don't think there is much else which I consider is 'needed' so if people do ask in a couple of months, there won't be! Don't wish to sound ungrateful - it's lovely that people will want to buy things.0 -
34+1 for me and I noticed re bladder sensation about 2 weeks ago now how it suddenly changed.
Sometimes I get such a heavy feeling I panic thinking I'm going to wet myself and then the feeling disappears and I don't need to go at all.
Other times I've gone to the loo, done a few things about the house and then 5 mins later had the sudden urge for the loo again only for hardly anything to come out.
Guess baby is running out of room and trying to get comfortable which means my bladder feeling more of the pressure now.
Glad I'm on holidays, I'm sure my teacher would get fed up of her TA going out of the class so often for the loo.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
I'm so tired. I work full time and hubby off with kids all summer hols so they all get to sleep in. We have his best friend staying for a week until Friday and he's managed to wake me through the night twice - one by accident and mon night 1:15am by him talking/laughing loudly when he came in and slamming the door. Trouble is, because I'm asleep from 11pm it's like I've had a power nap and it leaves me wide awake for over an hour. I asked that they didn't go out late last night so I could sleep ok as I was a zombie at work yesterday and hubby promised. Instead, they stayed out until 2:15am. I managed to get half an hour sleep between 11pm and 3am and just sat up hysterically sobbing through tiredness. I'm now up to get ready for work while they're all asleep. Feel so depressed and down at the mo. can't really take the day off work as they're not great with me since I lost our baby at Christmas. Nobody here is listening when I tell them how exhausted I am. Before his mate came he told us to get lots of meat etc in as he's in training so I'm working full time then coming straight in from work and under pressure to quickly cook before they're out. My sister asked to organise my baby shower 10wks ago but has done nothing so after dinner I'm now trying to get on with that but have problems now finding a date my closest friends can all do and find a room as they're now all booked. Honestly, just feel like packing a bag and driving away somewhere - it's all I could do not to just get up and do it through the night. Just don't feel like I'm important to anyone other than my girls, right now. :'-(
Sorry for rant. Just needed to get it out somewhere.

Big hugs angelmommy, there is nothing worse than being that exhausted and having to get up while everyone sleeps. Hope your DH makes it up to you!
AFM being having mild cramps for the last 3 days pretty regularly but no sign of baby, I am slowly sorting out the house and trying to keep busy, my energy levels are good but I am getting a bit bored hanging out at home on my own as everyone else is working!
