3 new baby girls!
whos next for a boy?
had a good morning this morning, went to our local Jack and Jill Market (scottish new/nearly new market, im sure i saw someone post a link to it recently on here) spent about £25 and got - 14 sleepsuits, 17 short sleeve suits, 2 snowsuits, very cute pjs, winnie the pooh jacket, 4 pairs of booties, scratch mitts (all a mix between 0-1 and 0-3 months), a bouncy chair, baby carrier, door bouncer, blanket, changing mat, 4 muslins (i think thats about it, im sure ive forgotten something though). some great bargains, i saw a medela swing for £35 barely used.
definitely worth a visit for anyone who can make it to one!

Congrats Nutshell..
Well I'm now tired and might head to bed for a bit since I have been up since 5:30am.
I ended up transferring/ throwing out chest freezer food at 8am, lol.
It was on today's do list so thought might as well get it done. The chest freezer has hopefully sold as waiting for someone to come and look at it, then woo hoo the spare room only contains baby items that just need sorting.
It's getting painted next Thursday and then the cotbed and changing table can get sorted properly. Then can wash all the clothes and put everything away properly.
We paid off the travel system today as it gets delivered on the 23rd August, we thought we'd choose to get it delivered a month before my due date as you just never know.
Unfortunately the graco base for the car seat doesn't fit in my car properly, hubby had a go at mothercare. We'd assumed having a ford focus which is a pretty common car would be okay, but clearly not.
We could of selected a different travel system today and just moved what we had already paid over to a different style but we really like what we've chosen. So will either have to re do the seat belt every time or leave the car seat in and be transferring baby all the time.
Had an on/off day though as felt a bit emotional with saying bye to my aunty/uncle last night. I know I've been quieter than normal and wasn't as excited as I usually am when it comes to looking at baby stuff in mothercare, but was pleased to be kept busy.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
We used the Britax shr with isofix base in OH's old focus, it was the only one that fit properly.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Congratulations PP, Oscar and Nutshell!!
Ladies with the procrastinating hubbies, they do eventually cotton on you're gonna give birth and get their bums in gear!! Everything was finished last week, when I was 37 weeks!! :rotfl: At the worst as long as baby has somewhere to sleep and is warm, dry and fed to start with you're good to go!!!:D It is nice to have it all done mind, then you don't have to worry (I didn't take any of me own advice either, I was nag central!!:p)
Just got a load of little nappies to wash and a few bits to order online and I think we're as ready as we can be.
Been feeling really off the past few days and had a mega sore bump and what I can only imagine are braxton hicks (didn't have them last time so dunno what they feel like) so wondering if things are gonna happen sooner rather than later, probably wishful thinking when I went 12 days over and had to be induced with number 1!!
Take it easy everyone!! xx

Congrats to all the new and new again mamas out there! Lovely girls names too
TMI alert, went for a long walk earlier, probably about 6 miles, and half way through had a rest and loo stop where I discovered quite a lot of pink discharge. Have come back and come straight to bed but do you think it could be anything more sinister? Bubs is still kicking so wondered if I have just worn myself out doing too much as also went swimming yesterday. Haven't had any since but don't know if I should be calling midwife or just relaxing tonight and not panicking! Now have a sore back and have had a few brixton hicks throughout the day but that's pretty standard for me. Any thongs appreciated!
