Nutshell.. if you get a basket you will need a stand for it when used downstairs at least (upstairs you stand it in the cot) which will add more money.. if the used basket has the stand get that and the new mattress.. definitely the better option moneywise.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Thanks for the suggestions lily. I wouldn't be able to manage swimming, and although we do have an annual pass to a big softplay centre, I can't clamber about after him like OH does when we take him there
I've just walked down with him to get the car, so he had fun splashing in the puddles etc, but walking makes me ache so much.
Trouble with DS is a. he is SO heavy..I mean a real weight, and to make matters worse OH discovered this morning that our McLaren hood has been damaged in transit on our holiday, so I can't even use that
I don't really do baking I'm ashamed to say..
Thank goodness it's Friday so OH will be on hand to help over the weekend.
I'm stressing as we have done nothing to get ready for the new baby - the nursery is still full of OH's clutter, so that is a major job to be done this weekend. We also need to order our moses basket and get all the other bits we'll need initially ordered + I want to start getting my hospital bag ready..auugh..I'd forgotten how much there is to do, and I just fel like taking 2 paracetamol and curling up in bed!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Don't stress MV, everything will work out and you know it
OH will be there this weekend to help and everything will seem like it's half the battle by tomorrow morning. Big hugs.
Must admit I am stressing somewhat about our nursary. We put lining paper up on the walls and OH painted it last night and they've all bubbled up. I was promised that once the paint dried the bubbles would disappear but it didn't look like it this morning! I don't actually have a plan B so I hope he's right!
I've only got 3 weeks left in work but my workload has just trebled over the past 2 days trying to sort out someone elses mess of a huge account. Doesn't help that the guy I'm working with (who will be doing the account full time) is a proper stress head who gets nothing done!!My Debt Free Diary

Met V.. I've not sorted anything either.. all the bedding for the basket and the first few sizes of clothes are shared between my oldest 2 .. I have the busiest day ever today and just want to crawl into bed.. which is simply not going to happen. It'll all come together in time, no huge rush.. putting it off until tomorrow or next week will be fine!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

go for it.. you'll just look like a pink frog but heck.. its a good look
Would it make you feel better to have a bag packed or something??? Or is it just that you feel it should be done? Would writing lists of stuff to do/pack help and be a start for today?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
MV - don't cry
I know what you mean about the pain I've just been docs she's signed me off work for 2 weeks, advised take cocodamol and go to physio, while I was there I had my whooping cough jab.
I've got a hard work 21 month old boy who weighs a ton so I understand that too, I find parent toddler group is my godsend I go 3 mornings a week, DS loves it and I get a couple of hours without having to chase him round I just sit back and drink my brew chat to the other mums while he plays and gets fed, heaven

We haven't sorted out our nursery, baby will be sleeping in Moses basket with us for few months and the cotbed is currently lying in pieces in spare room. Will eventually put things together!
Sparkles good luck for your induction on Sunday xMum of 2 :j0
