Hiya ladies - hope all is well with the bumps & babies!
Getting progressively more tired and backache is seriously kicking in towards the end of the day - thankfully I only have 3 weeks of work left with a day off and 3 half days in there at the very least! My Debt Free Diary

Morning ladies, I've seen the dr and getting the induction Sunday as they feel mine and baby's health is going to be affected if they leave me to go the 12 days over. I'm so relieved. Just have to manage some lunch and I can go home this afternoon as I'll get a better rest there for two nights
Plus, on a practical level, I can double check her room is ready, make another couple of freezer dishes and spend some time with OH as he's got a day off tomorrow

Good luck for sunday sparkles!
I am so achy today, pain down both legs and back..it's horrible, I can only describe it as like tooth ache in my hips/legs/back..not a happy bunny today.
Can I ask those ladies with other children, how do you cope with a lively 2 and a half year old when you are feeling like total crap? I took DS to the park yesterday and it wiped me out. Today OH has dropped the car in for it's MOT so I am without transport. I'll be having to go and fetch it later anyway so we will get out at some point..not looking forward to the walk down to Kwik Fit though.
This morning we've done drawing and painting already, DS has helped me sort the washing and load the machine (he is obsessed with it!) and had a major screaming tantrum which ended with me yelling at him, making him and me cry and feel awful.
I cant face parks/lots of walking today...so what else is there to do on a rainy day?
I'm feeling loads of guilt at the moment that I'm not doing enough with him

Good Luck Sparkles.
AFM I went to the midwife yeaterday and my urine was showing a very high level of sugar. She wanted to send me to the hospital today for a glucose test which I refused. I am hoping it was a combination of being wide awake on Wednesday night and binging on lots of chocolate and milk at midnight and then not really having time to drink much water in work yesterday morning. We have made a compromise that I will try to be good and they will test me again in a week. If there is any trace they will send me. Having the test is my idea of hell as I cannot drink any sugary drinks without being very sick and headachy.
Also I'm now considereing buying a moses basket. My SIL has a blue one she has offered to lend us (we're team yellow), and my friend has lent us an oldish one which when I want to wash the covers they have a hole in them and are moldy. I would be buying a new matress anyway and have now seen this so I am thinking of getting the MIL to buy it as she offered originally and has not bought us anything else instead. Not very MSE I know. What would everyone else do?

MV, do you have a wacky warehouse or anything like that you could go to? Any friends with kids you could go and visit? Would swimming be too difficult for you?
Edit, I've just read you have no car.
Could you get a bus somewhere? My SIL used to just go and sit on a bus or an hour when her daughter was small as she (daughter) loved the journeys and the people!
How about him helping you sort out baby clothes or reading/writing a story together? Or baking? DS 'helps' me bake all the time.
I'll be where you are in 4 months so let me know what you do! Xx14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -

Considering a mattress is about a tenner I would just buy it tbh - or get MIL to buy it, it's not very MSE but it's not breaking the bank eitherMy Debt Free Diary
