Grr, can we have the heat wave back please? DH still not finished work as flooding has closed a road and he's having to make a 180 mile detour to get home...this had better not happen nearer my due date!

Hi all, hope everyone is well.

MV - Yay for starting ML. Sounds like you've had some lovely presents. Not long to go now!

bride2be - 180 mile detour  Hope he is home soon.

I'm >>>> this close <<<<< to getting hubby to commit to the double buggy I want - but he keeps saying we've got a few more weeks and I really don't want to leave it too late. I finally found a good deal on the car seat I wanted. Black Maxi Cosi Pebble at £88 including £12 worth of Boots points - so happy with that. Will take a trip to Kiddicare next week and buy the cot. I feel like I'm starting to get somewhere!

I had my Anti-D yesterday and MW today and all is good. Perfect pee. Perfect BP. Perfect measurements and perfect hb. Can't ask for more really. Don't go back again until 34 weeks, which seems so far away.

Oh dear - let's not go there indeed! I don't think my mum will be very pleased with the quality of my cooking over the last fortnight while she's been away. Normally I do cook from scratch but I've been so lazy (well, pregnant anyway!) it's been burgers or a pizza more often than a proper meal - oops! Pasta bake tonight though, that can't be that bad right? :D

36 weeks today so I'll be interested to see if anything changes next week or they still want to see how it goes.

Oh - and I mentioned I'm not allowed to drive anymore? I left my car at the doctors yesterday and got a taxi to the hospital, picked up the car last night and someone had hit it and left not as much as an apology nevermind insurance details. It's not a huge dent/scratch but I'll need to get it fixed anyway - better get off kiddicare :rotfl:

Can I just ask why you can't drive anymore? I'd be in a right mess if I couldn't drive, I work miles away from where I live.

Is it the 'Total Black' version you're after? You can get it for £73 plus £12 of boots points with the code PCPACSWN1.

Oh my goodness, thank you :) :j:j:j

I was really chuffed with my first order. Hubby will be chuffed after this one. I can't see how to cancel my first order. Guess I will have to phone them in the morning. Do we know when Boots charge the card as I've used hubbys and it expires tomorrow.

I love getting a bargain so you are very welcome!

I don't know how to cancel an order, but returning items is super easy. Last time I took something back (car seat adapter)the refund was back in my bank account 2 days later.

Hi everyone..hope your all coping just fine and massive, MASSIVE congrats to Anderson and Sam on your new little babies!

I was in hospital yesterday due to reduced movements. Had an issue with both our heartbeats so was kept on a ctg for an eternity and then growth was static so they sent me for a scan. That turned out just fine and baby is just a tad under average weight at 3.5lbs so far! (31 weeks).

Been feeling pretty run down though and totally fed up at work. I don't need a red carpet but I'm feeling pretty ignored .. submitted all my own paperwork to HR and my acting boss didn't ask at all how I was after yesterday just wanted to know I'd complete some work on time. We've also had our holidays capped so June to my maternity leave (end of Sep) I can't take any time off and I am so knackered and busy at home I feel I need to. If I'd known they were doing this I wouldn't have put down to work until due date!

So at the moment everyday is a chore, my house is a mess and I just feel like things around me have fallen into disarray!! We are supposed to be getting new carpets fitted next week which is good but a royal pain with all the furniture and things that need moving! Once it's done though I can put the cot up and dress baby's room.

Such a whinger! And my bump is rock hard so I can't bend down properly which is so annoying!!

At midwife tomorrow so I've got part of day off for that and I'm going shopping with my mum for baby's furniture so looking forward to my sneaky bit of time off! That's all I hold out for now..midwife appointments and half days!
