I'm going off food I think and feeling tired. Doctor rang up and said my blood count was low due to lack of iron so they're prescribing me an iron supplement which has unpleasant side effects woo-hoo! 29+3
My doctor told me that floradix is really good for low iron, with no side effects. Unfortunately you can't get it on prescription, it's at Holland and barrett, but it's nice!0 -

that reminds me i need to get a breast pump, im going to try to bf and it would be good to get oh involved with the feeding but im not sure whether to get a manual or electric one?
ive seen really good deals on manual ones but ive read that they can be slow and tricky and its better to go with electric ones? is that true or does it depend on the person? dont really want to go manual to then have to spend more on getting an electric one.0 -
I'd say go electric cleo.

I'm actually alright. I was more uncomfortable and in more pain from 20 - 28 weeks. Since this warm weather I hardly have had any hip/pelvic pain. I'm sure it was worse with the damp weather.
Are you on maternity leave yet? I'm 37 weeks and find it weird that I was already on leave for a good few weeks already last time. I break up Wednesday, so that's my last day.that reminds me i need to get a breast pump, im going to try to bf and it would be good to get oh involved with the feeding but im not sure whether to get a manual or electric one?

You can pick up a tommee tipped manual for £12.50, usually in the baby events. Lowest I've seen them is £10. I think it's worth just trying a manual, because you might not bother expressing much. My daughter didn't take the bottle so I gave up bothering, so was glad I didn't waste money on an electric. Also when I used an electric in hospital I got the milk out no faster than I did with a manual. You'll never know till you start trying really...Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -

I'd second the Medela Swing its fab!
I started out with a Tomee Tippee manual pump and would end up with about 4oz on 20 mins. Got myself the Swing electric pump and started getting 6-7oz in 10 mins. I find its really good at stimulating the let down reflex.0
