I bought the carrycot in brown - wanted red really! There's another one listed today so assume they add regularly. I'm going to watch some car seats. They did have a red carrycot but it was a 'B' grade & said some scratches on it. I did send an e mail to ask the extent of the scratches but the reply was along the lines of due to the amount of sales they can't provide that detail/ individual photos. I think they are likely to be catalogue returns or similar as quite a bit of stuff seems new.
They did say you could return if unhappy.
Feedback is generally good too.
PP- thanks for the Quidco reminder.0 -
I ordered the cabriofix two weeks ago for £84 from amazon, i know a lot of u have got it cheaper though. Ordered it in red to match the pram.
My dd is 8 in a couple of weeks, so im well out of the nappy bottle stage, and agree it will be very odd to go back!
Not that i'm counting but i have 16 shifts left in work...
32+6 (but still struggling to imagine i'll have a baby in 7 weeks!!)Still here..... but working on that!0 -
Hi everyone,
sat here with all the windows open and the fan on, i thought it was going to be getting cooler and maybe some rain coming but its still so warm here, its getting to feel like torture
so glad that im not the one in labour today!
any little activity leaves my face looking like a beetroot, which i then have to cover in water and sit in front of the fan, have got absolutely no motivation to clean or pack ready for the house move, i cant believe we are going to be moving house as well and by the looks of it not far behind due date either!
oh is working lots so its left to me to pack everything up, was bending and sitting on floors yesterday to get stuff to pack and oh boy did i pay for it in the night, my back was in half and im having to grab the headboard of the bed to flip myself over at night.. shaking the bed for a whole different reason
so its a boy judging by the news, its a lot of fuss, its lovely but the tradition of placing an a4 piece of paper on a easel outside of buckingham palace? hmm can just imagine 'normal' people doing that! :rotfl:
when did everyone get their hospital bag together? i know its a scary thing to think about but its even more scary thinking of going in early and leaving my oh to have to put things together!

Anyone signed up to the Bounty 10% discount code for Kiddicare.
I got an e mail & it said you had to register & you would get the code within 7 days. 7 what? I want to place an order NOW! Just wondered how long it actually took to come.
I don't do waiting - heaven help us all if I go overdue!0 -
Hi everyone
Sorry to those feeling a bit ropey. Had an off day myself but fine now...good job I didn't post earlier or it would have been a massive woe is me rant!
I do hope 157 items aren't necessary for a baby as I feel I'm close to finishing my shopping and I'm way off that AND I've bought a lot of things that aren't for just for newborns...
Yesterday I bought loads of stuff - 1200 baby wipes, loads of baby toiletries and got an absolute bargain from Zara online - 5 baby vests for £4.99! So I bought 2 sets 3 -6 months as I have a bit of a shortfall there. Also got a couple of bits from Boden, some teething rings and yet more baby bottles. I've gone for the mam self sterilising ones which I've now heard leak but hey ho!
Just need a breast pump and some nursery things really now. Oh and a baby monitor but I'm just going to get a cheap motorola plug in as we don't live in a massive house anyway! The annoying thing is I have an idea of how I want my boy's room to look and consequently can find nothing that fits the brief!
Take care all xx0 -
I'm going to try and do my hospital bag at the end of this month when I'm about 30 weeks and have just got paid. today was lovely weather then it became hot again grrrr!
I'm going off food I think and feeling tired. Doctor rang up and said my blood count was low due to lack of iron so they're prescribing me an iron supplement which has unpleasant side effects woo-hoo! 29+30
