Do you have priority debt arrears(mortgage.rent, council tax, utilities)?
Are any of the arrears being paid off?
Is the account still open?
What is your argument to the FOS(if it is the "they made no offer", "they didn't offer enough" approach, it will not work)?0 -
What software is it? can you share it?? or atleast the name of the software and description should be great.
Which bank?

I heard from my daughter yesterday that she had just received a letter from Nationwide that she is having £150 bank charges refunded ....
They sent a letter previously that she would not be entitled under the Financial hardship claim although income and expenditure forms were completed etc.
I downloaded one of your template letters and adjusted acordingly....sent it off just under a week ago and now they have back tracked completely it seems!!!!
Previously to this we claimed in the region of £1000 plus in bank charges from Lloyds TSB for another family member and they paid back all bank charges in full settlement.
So a massive thank you to you and your team.....:T:A0 -
Alliance + Leicester Reclaimed 460, received 460, however still waiting on halifax reclaimed 1'730, looks like that one will be going to court :-(0

Hi all,
I am currently struggling to understand alot of the information in this thread, I applied for a refund of charges about 2 years ago, but still have not received anything. I am reading that people are opening up new cases against Natwest and are receiving their money back, although it seems this is because they are going through the Hardship route..
Am i right in thinking that the court case has still not taken place, that anyone who has applied back a few years ago are on hold until this court case is finished. Unless you apply thorough the hardship route?
Am i also right in thinking that you can claim for longer than 6yrs ago??
Cheers

Financial Hardship is the only way people are getting paid out but the bank does not have to repay even 1p under financial hardship.0 -
Bank: HSBC
Amount claimed: £810
Amount Paid: £570
Started my claim about 2 weeks ago over the phone, Hsbc Accepted Hardship, but will not pay full amount upfront to me, they have agreed to pay £300 direct to priority debt and give me £270 towards 2 months living expenses, to get the rest they will review my situation after the 2 months, I am very pleased of course! but cant help feeling abit annoyed that they are rationing me and dictating how i spend something they unfairly took in the first place!!!! Considering I thought the money was lost forever and there is one less big arrears bill looming over me Im very grateful to moneysavingexpert!!!!! xx0 -
