    Morning People,

Didn't post last night as it got sooo late after we stopped nattering and I just needed to go to bed :D

We had another lovely day yesterday. We met up with my sister and We all walked to a local village pub and had lunch. I was very anxious before hand as I'd looked at the menu and there wasn't much that I was comfy with eating. I just didn't want to be thrown off course after being so good and doing so well.

I knew my sister would be a r s y if I asked for something other than 'as it comes' ie with no butter or dressing but my friends sorted it all out so she couldn't make anything other than a bit of a sarky comment ;)

It's their last day here today and they'll head off home just after lunch. It's always really sad to see them driving off down the road :( They visit me every summer and we've been friends since we were 4 and we met at primary school (along with Mr Frog). I am so glad they come, and it's so good to have life long friends who know you well enough to accept you for who you are and not make you feel odd. Even though we all know I am :D

    Morning

Wow millerose, 7stone loss, that is great and glad your heart surgery was a success. Well done on your loss magicbucks.

I totally went overboard yesterday as I declared it a flexi day, won't be doing that again, it was ridiculous. Croissant, pain au chocolat, chinese take away, etc etc. I did think of just taking it off the 105 total syns but I think the amount I put away, I won't have any syns for about 3 weeks
I did have a very upset stomach late last night, and during the night, my tummy was very sore so letting me know that is was not ok to be treated this way.
so there is my line under it, forgetting about it. Start fresh today, it feels quite good actually, I have learned that celebrating something great does not have to mean a total pig out.

Still feeling a bit delicate so will have some scrambled eggs and an activia probiotic yogurt for breakfast. I wonder if I should go green today?....see how I go till lunch.

    Have a great day everyone.

im feeling so cross with myself. its weigh in day today and yesterday i had lunch and tea out. were not having a holiday this year so we went to the coast for the day and on a steam train and we were out from 9 til about 9. i resisted sooooo many temptations - sitting with a cup of tea while all other customers had cakes and cream tea. i resisted ice cream and candy floss and all other little things like that. lunch was a jacket potato with prawns and salad and the dressing was creme fraiche so that was the only thing to syn and on the way home i had chicken and bacon in bbq sauce with chips. now i have got on the scales and for 5 days its said 9 6 and now im 9 9. cant beleive it. i even put a pound on at class last week due to my period. to top it all of i really enjoyed the food but have had a tummy ache all night.
i think we may be going somewhere local today and ive already done the picnic for today so we dont have a repeat.
    onwards and upwards

    Hello everyone :j :j

    Here's my background......
I've been a member of SW since Sept 2010. Joined with my best friend who was a member. Joined because I needed open heart surgery but the hospital trust would not operate on me in my physical condition (my BMI was 40). Having been told to lose weight I cried to my friend who suggested SW. I haven't looked back. After wiping the smile of my cardiologists face and losing 5st in a year, I had my operation in November 2011 - 11-11-11 lol. It was a success.

I've been crowned my groups; Woman of the Year 2012, Miss Slinky, and Greatest Loser - a hat trick! Shocked at all 3 and very humbled if not embarrassed to win them! I've had my story published in a local free paper to promote my consultants group.

I finally reached Target in February this year. I've lost a total of 7st 10lbs to date. Struggling to maintain my target and keep going under!

I do minimal body magic, no gyms or anything excessive. I do like swimming and walking :) I stick to around 8-10 syns a day. I started on Extra Easy and its my main plan even now but I do like red and green. I lost 7lbs one week following the red plan (original) 100%. So it does work. I've also tried Success Express but have not tried Fast Forward!

I have thought of becoming a consultant but the time isn't right at the moment. But never say never lol.

I can't promote SW enough, it's worked for me and if you follow the plan 100% you will see results.....

If you need any help please holla....:):):)

I want to post just like this one :D I want to say "am at target and keep going under lol"

I really really wish and hope and pray I do it...

you are an inspiration miller rose :T

    Hi all

Frogga well done on being so good when your friends were there I am not sure my restraint would have been as good

Also in terms of restaurant things have changed so muchg ioin the last few years people are used to be ing asked for different things due to peoples dietary requirements

You dont like water- join the club I think a bit of ocean spray cranberry cordial is only thing I can drink it with I know it has a couple of sins but just use a bit as part of my allowance

Mum of Two good on you wipe the slate clean a new day and a new mindset go for it :-)

Wuvvies you will lose that gain how about a couple of super express days if its to make you feel motivated its basically 2/3 of your plate superfree food so veg etc 1/3 meat /jacket potato etc everyone swears by it after 1 or a few flexi/ lots of sins days

Miller rose I agree with Frogga you are amazing and a real inspiration of what can be achieved

    Have a great day all

Off to get some banana and scan bran ;-)

I would need to get on the Scan Bran - I've been needing to call Dyno Rod since Sunday - thankfully a bit of clearing today! Sorry for the crudeness lol

Really finding it hard to drink the water at the min and that is probably part of my problem.

Not so sure I'll be making veg soup again! My goodness so bloated and gassy from Sunday and you would think that would have helped in the toilet department - but seemed to make things worse.

    Anyway enough toilet talk lol:rotfl:

    Plan of Attach for today

    B: Toffe Muller

L: 2 X Nimble (HE) Tuna, Extra Lite Mayo, Onion & Gherkins, 1 Slice of Low Low Cheese (HE)

D: Bacon, Cabbage, Brocoli, Mushrooms, Onion

    S: Pineapple

Good luck to all today :) :T
  • Morning everyone. Joined our local group on Monday eve, have been to SW before & lost enthusiasm, but this time I've joined with my OH as we are getting married in April & I currently don't fit in my dress
On day 2 I just feel like I'm not getting enough 'crunch' in my diet. Have been having fat-free natural yogurt and fresh strawbs for breakfast, but i'd love to add a spoonfull of oats or seeds, was thinking flaxseed, but that seems quite high in syns. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm using my HB on a Hi-Fi bar to get my chocolate fix, so would love a low-syn idea please x

Hi sammy Lou- well scan bran is an option but also how about increasing the amount of vegetables that you eat veg are a great source of fibre and if like me you are not a great fan of them make a slimming world quicche and add broccoli asparagus etc etc I fing green veg- my least faves great on fibre front
  • Thank you, had a huge amount of salad & veg for lunch and dinner, it's just breakfast I'm really struggling with as I'm not feeling particularly full. Am going to pop out to look for Scan Bran at lunch!

Yeah go for it dointhemonkee :T
    I
must admit I was going great guns for a few days and then had none one day but back on it tomorrow it really works and it fills you You need to drink lots with them though and they do need lots of toppings to make them
Tasty but they do the trick and I think if you have days when you know you using flexi sins then on the other days they speed up loss

By the way that is purely my opinion not saying its factual just going from experience with them this time and in past on SW

My promise to myself for next week especially with bad weekend looming is

    5 scan bran a day
    2 pints of water

Up the exercise on stepper to 15 mins a day I'm hoping these combined will help me lose even though weekend is washout

If you doing the scan bran thing I recommend upping the water you drink if you are not a good water drinker usually

    Does that make sense?

    lol I drink !!!! loads already :) about 1.5lts of nas squash & oh 4-8 coffees :)
