Hi B17 it's a crisp bread like a ryvita thing with unprocessed wheat 5 of them make up a HE you can get it at class or in holland and barratt They are the places I know of

It's not the most appetising but if you put mashed banana on it or cottage cheese with peppers and spring onion it's not too bad at all

It's also very good for fibre content

Be careful of mashed banana as that would class as syns (4 syns for a small one).

I find it really interesting that people struggle to drink lots of water. I always have a pint as soon as a wake up, then usually another one straight away!
Then whenever I have a cup of coffee/tea I just drink another pint whilst waiting for the kettle to boil. I find it has really helped with the weigh loss, the more I drink, the more I seem to loose!

No wonder your name is pee :D

Had lunch with my friend. Rather flexi. Instead of a restaurant we ended up in M&S and bought bits to eat in the park as it was a nice day. Avoided syn laden coffees, had an Americano with some hot milk on the side. SW Bolognese tonight, so back on the wagon.

Hope you're OK Frogga.:) You did brilliantly while your friends were here so hopefully you're sticking with your excellent plan for school holidays.

lantanna (I'm still concerned you're not eating enough BTW;)) Looking at your menu it could easily be red (original) as I don't see any potatoes or pasta or anything. So that means you could have another HEA or B if you wanted.

sammy-lou, you've got an age to go before the wedding so don't worry. Probably need your dress taking in soon.:rotfl:I was going to suggest that maybe you tried some green or red days then you could have cereal to mix in with your fruit and yogurt.

I start the day with a huge glass of NAS Ribena. I started having it as I'm always thirsty first thing and wanted an alternative to juice. I'd prefer something less sweet but haven't found it yet. Also, if I want to save some HEA to have cheese, I just have my breakfast tea with milk and then drink hot Ribena (or black tea or coffee). It's quite nice, like having a fruit tea but instant.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments :D

My journey hasn't been easy. I've had the unexplained gains and been heartbroken, but then again I've had the unexplained losses when I've been having a naughty week! Nobody journey is perfect, we all have that thing called life that gets in our way. Whether it be school holidays, family visits or holidays I'm sure there are times when we just want to say "Sod it!" And reach for the nearest chocolate bar to comfort us.

What's kept me going is my children...:) I look at them and want to run in the park with them without having to sit down on the bench, I want to take them swimming without feeling awkward and stared at, I want to have a life with them.

I've tried scan bran....it's interesting to say the least! Lol I usually have it with tomato pur!e and a can of sardines on top or I have 2 (2syns) for breakfast with warm plum tomatoes on top with scrambled egg on the side (using HEA milk). Or I usually grate it inside a muller to keep my bum happy! PMSL

I've just found out that I've been nominated again for Woman of the Year 2013. It's quite sweet, but hope that someone else wins to give others a chance. I'd hate for people to think its favouritism. In my eyes, every single woman in my group is a winner. We all have stories to tell and we all have achieved so much - just by walking through those doors!

Afternoon all, hope everyone is ok?
I'm feeling a bit low today, bit headachy and listless. Wanted to go for a walk or do my 30 Day Shred or the bike but have no energy or inclination...just want to go to bed!
On a brighter note I have a job interview tomorrow so fingers crossed for that, lot of anxiety atm is from being jobless and worrying about money, been out of work for 6 weeks so I could concentrate on moving but I'm starting to feel I have no purpose. Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Sorry for the negative post, must try harder! :o

Hope you're feeling a bit better - good luck for tomorrow, let us know how it goes!
  • Woo hoo -2.5 lb this week. Determined to have another good one. I've last 3 st 6 lb so far. I have never had a target weight as I find it confusing. At the start it seemed too far way to matter...as I lost more it seemed hard to imagine what target would look like? Now I look at my bmi and what I should weigh and am more infused. What do u think of bmi and their idea of best weight? I'm in my mid 40s, female and 5 ft 3 ..... Now what should I aim for?
    2014 reach my best.

Hi Travellinglight - one reason to have a target (even if it is not your final target) is to have something to aim for and also free attendance at group! You can relax for a week or two when you get to target, then without necessarily telling anyone get firmly back on the plan until you reach the 3 lb below target, then reset your target for another stone loss, or 1.5 stone loss giving you something to aim for again. I did it that way when I lost my nearly-three-stone 2 years ago. The SW website gives you recommended weights for heights, or it used to.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
