Morning everyone. Joined our local group on Monday eve, have been to SW before & lost enthusiasm, but this time I've joined with my OH as we are getting married in April & I currently don't fit in my dress
On day 2 I just feel like I'm not getting enough 'crunch' in my diet. Have been having fat-free natural yogurt and fresh strawbs for breakfast, but i'd love to add a spoonfull of oats or seeds, was thinking flaxseed, but that seems quite high in syns. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm using my HB on a Hi-Fi bar to get my chocolate fix, so would love a low-syn idea please x

lots of new people.. hello all :)

sammylou, I sometimes crumble up one of my hifi's into yoghurt and fruit, the new blackcurrant cheesecake one is nice for this as a little too sweet for me on its own..

That's a good idea, thank you. I couldn't find the Scan Bran bars, so have ended up with a bag of linseed. Seems to be about 4 syns for a tablespoon, but i only really need a teaspoon, just to give it a bit of 'bite'...

Afternoon all, hope everyone is ok?
I'm feeling a bit low today, bit headachy and listless. Wanted to go for a walk or do my 30 Day Shred or the bike but have no energy or inclination...just want to go to bed!
On a brighter note I have a job interview tomorrow so fingers crossed for that, lot of anxiety atm is from being jobless and worrying about money, been out of work for 6 weeks so I could concentrate on moving but I'm starting to feel I have no purpose. Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

    Anyway, I digress
    EE today
B: omelette with leftover cabbage, tinned plum tomatoes, wafer thin ham that went out of date today and a limp spring onion. Sounds weird but was actually really tasty!
L: not really hungry so I'll prob have a mullerlight and banana
D: will be a prawn salad, lots of lettuce, mini tomatoes, spring onions, cucumber and a dollop of leftover sweet potato mash.
    HEA : milk in tea
HEB : not sure, maybe toast and jam or crackerbread and Philly light.

Staying away from my red wine for a bit. I feel I'm drinking too much of it, or have the potential to, plus as soon as I have a glass I want to stuff my face with everything in sight.

Not sure if I'd put this before but I'm 34, 5ft 4, 12st 10 and my target for now is 10st then take it from there. I was 9 stone in my early 20's but what looked right then wouldn't necessarily look right now! Plus I think my chesticles must weigh about a stone each!!

Sorry for the negative post, must try harder! :o

Having another Red day today, although not much meat about. It looks more like a Green day but the Tesco Light Choices sausages I'm having for dinner are 0.5 syn each on Red or 4 syns on Green! so opted for Red day.

    B - veg quiche
L - LO mushroom chasseur with bread (HEB1)
    D - 2 sausages, new potatoes with skins (HEB2) & frozen veg
Snacks - various fruit, have had strawberries, cherries & nectarine so far

Syns: Sausages 1; will probably have a Fruit Split this evening 3

HEA1 - milk; not sure whether I'll have a second one but if I do I'll have some cheese and syn a couple of Ryvita

    WI for me tomorrow.

I find it really interesting that people struggle to drink lots of water. I always have a pint as soon as a wake up, then usually another one straight away!
Then whenever I have a cup of coffee/tea I just drink another pint whilst waiting for the kettle to boil. I find it has really helped with the weigh loss, the more I drink, the more I seem to loose!

    Hi everyone,
WI this morning and another 1lb lost. :jSlow and steady. I am with you Frogga, I can't do moderation, I can't do "just one" so it is better to avoid chocies, cakes and biscuits all together. But it has been doctor change over time at work, so loads of cakes, and meals out to say goodbye :o
I have upped my activity at the gym, and am going back to kettlercise tonight.
Also been out on bike and did a bit of walking.

I have planned next weeks meals and I am pleased to say we have not had the same meal twice yet in four weeks, thanks to the SW website, slimming eats and various recipies on you tube. However I dont know about you lot, but I do think any minute now I will turn into a muller lite yoghurt.

Heres to the next 1lb :)

    Hello all,

Well done to the losers, you are all doing so well! I lose 5.5 on Monday so last week's gain plus another 3lb :) Only 12.5lb from target (well target for now - probably want to lose another stone after that) so will see how close I can get before I go on hols.

That's a really good way of doing it, as it seems quite a few people struggle to drink enough or even remember to drink but most people have tea and coffee so it's a good reminder. I have a 1L water bottle on my desk and fill it up 2 or 3 times, plus coffee/tea and a few pints of SF squash in the evenings- no wonder I'm always on the loo! :rotfl: I think you get used to it though- if I'm busy in work and don't get to drink as much water as usual I feel thirsty even though overall I drink a fair bit.

Good luck for tomorrow! Don't force yourself to exercise if you don't feel like it, maybe try a gentle walk but I wouldn't do the shred if you're feeling under par!

Not feeling great myself today- had a bit of an upset tummy this morning so had no breakfast, settled down but them was dodgy again after lunch. Was shattered last night and fell asleep about 8pm, may well do the same tonight! Even had to drive to work today (much to OH's relief) after promising to cycle every day, but will be back on the bike tomorrow to at least ensure it's 4 days out of 5.

Hope everyone else is well and having a good hump day :)

PMT is really starting to kick in today - really hateful

    B17c I'm 34 5.4 ins and 14.2 stone

    I was 16.13 when I started.

In my 20s I was 11.7 to 12.7 (what you are now) and that was ok for me.lol

I want to get down to 9.7 stone though :j It just might take me 5 years at this rate lol

Thank you Magicbucks and Blodwen, I've decided to go for a walk along the seafront since the sun has finally made an appearance...a lot of is that I feel lonely, only just moved here so not made any friends yet so no one to invite round or go for a coffee with! Though this place is so small there's no Costa, Starbucks or even a McDonald's, though that's a good thing! :) I moved up here because of health issues and to be near to my mum and grandparents so I'm not complaining, I love the peace and quiet and being next to the sea :heart2: hopefully I'll get the job tomorrow and be working with nice people! :T
