Evening all, can I ask what is Scan Bran? Is it like ryveta? I have to be careful how much fibre/wheat I have coz it sets my IBS off so some days I miss out my HEB but I've heard people get good weight loss results with it?! Dx

Hi B17 it's a crisp bread like a ryvita thing with unprocessed wheat 5 of them make up a HE you can get it at class or in holland and barratt They are the places I know of

It's not the most appetising but if you put mashed banana on it or cottage cheese with peppers and spring onion it's not too bad at all

It's also very good for fibre content

People either love it or hate it.
You need to drink a lot of water with it.
    £1.20 a packet at class.

    :T BR and magibucks Result!!!

I ended up having a bowl of berries and a banana for lunch but was starving long before supper. I made a frittata/Spanish omelette thing. Potatoes, eggs, chopped red onion, courgette and red pepper and barely a HEA of cheddar. Made a large frying pan full. I ate a quarter and the rest is in the fridge for grazing purposes. Mmmm!

I'm out for the day tomorrow with a friend. Breakfast and supper will be SW but lunch I'm not sure about. At least she's more a teashop than a wine bar sort of person so that's one less temptation.;)
  • I might give the scanbran a try. depends on how much they cost out of holland & barrat :)

Yeah go for it dointhemonkee :T
    I
must admit I was going great guns for a few days and then had none one day but back on it tomorrow it really works and it fills you You need to drink lots with them though and they do need lots of toppings to make them
Tasty but they do the trick and I think if you have days when you know you using flexi sins then on the other days they speed up loss

By the way that is purely my opinion not saying its factual just going from experience with them this time and in past on SW

My promise to myself for next week especially with bad weekend looming is

    5 scan bran a day
    2 pints of water

Up the exercise on stepper to 15 mins a day I'm hoping these combined will help me lose even though weekend is washout

If you doing the scan bran thing I recommend upping the water you drink if you are not a good water drinker usually

    Does that make sense?
