    Hi all

Well done Mr O great result and have a brilliant holiday
Weighed at gym this morning but my real weigh day is next Tuesday night and was 12 10 1/4 That's just under 2 pounds off halfway through week

Before anyone even thinks of saying well done - read on :-)

Went to Portsmouth shopping and ended up having chicken fajita and later on skinny latte with slice of cake
I'm talking a full on cream strawberry gateau and thought you have been excellent for 3 days and if a nice meal like that though could have done without h cake

Tomorrow breakfast 5 scan bran with mashed banana

Lunch two hard boiled eggs with onions and light mayo and ham and pitta

    Dinner salmon and stir fry

I figure last week I we t out on the Saturday for Turkish this time Mexican gateau and one thing I have learnt in last 2 weeks is when you have these things infrequently you actually enjoy them more

Where before I had 3/4 lattes a day one skinny latte as a treat is more enjoyable

I was never from the school of you should deny yourself things food wise if they not good for you
To me DENIAL is a river in Egypt :rotfl: LOL. And so far that's the good thing now the really nice stuff is a treat and I savour it more

Hopefully this feeling will last and as long as next 3 days counterbalances today and I get my half stone award ill be happy

    Have. Fab eve all

    Morning!

I did go a bit over my syns last night (by about 12)
but haven't eaten all 15 syns every day so hopefully will balance out over the week, fingers crossed.

I have read that some of you take the syns over the week, sort of a bit like WW have the 49 extra PP for extra's. Is that working well for you? I think I would like to try that, during the week I am not so bothered about syns etc. but always fancy icecream/chocolate/crisps on a Saturday night.

I have about 10 stone to lose, so a long way to go, and I need to be able to keep the plan going for a long time. The fact that I have been able to stick to it for 5 days already is a bit of a miracle.:o;)

    Onwards and downwards.
breakfast will be beans, rosemary and red onion sausages, egg, tomatoes, mushrooms
lunch: something light, salad with tuna
tea: something with chicken, not sure what yet, wedges

I love homemade wedges, made lots last night with Nando marinated chicken (have syned it) and a vegetable stir fry, so tasty and filling

    Have a lovely Sunday

:hello:BR, good to see you back. Hope you're enjoying being a lady of leisure.:) It's definitely slower when you only have a little to lose. I just tell myself it's a good, healthy way to eat anyway.

My thoughts exactly!:) I start on WI day with a 'bank' of 105 syns then subtract from there. Most are used up at the weekend with just a few left for gravy, sauces during the week.

SavingSavvy, I well remember my first weigh in getting off the scales, stunned and saying 'Wow! it does work!'. Do ask any questions you want, this is a good group.

Back on the wagon after a flexi meal last night. Actually it wasn't too bad. Sardines on leaves to start followed by steak with vegetables and 'fondant' potatoes (fancy mash?) but the pudding was synful although small!

    Today's EE:
B: fried egg on HEB toast, HEA milk for teas, NAS Ribena
L: had a salad yesterday, may do it again
D: roast chicken, parsnips, roasties, cauli, broccoli, runner beans, carrots
Syns: squirt of sauce, gravy, possibly light mayo and usual weekend wine syns!:j

    Hi all

I know I get weighed on a Tuesday but I like to set the scene for the week today cos of work

When. Went for contact lens annual check yesterday eyes a bit dry I know I don't drink half enough water so I am putting here in print what I will do for week ( I don't like it but will do it with bit of squash)

1 litre of water a day as water (squash) not including amount in coffee diet coke etc

5 scan bran a day for this week as well every day some with bananas some with cottage cheese

10 minutes on my stepper thing in the evening while watching telly (you know the thing it's like walking upstairs I call it a stepper dunno real name

Making quiche today to keep in fridge For hungry periods

    Have meals planned for wek

    Salmon stirfryveg tonight

Salmon and salad at lunchtime in work tomorrowDinner chicken pieces and vegetables

Tuesday teriyaki salmon and stirfryveg with broccoli in it that wAy won't taste it LOLand okra my new veg of the week

Wednesday Chicken salad hot chicken salad with interesting salad grated carrots radishes peppers etc

I know this is really daft but works for me I promised to add one new veg to my normal lot every week and his week have added fennel so will find a way of including that too

Thursday leaving do from work Will stick to diet coke and eat first

Friday omlette with lads a veg in it and Cheese from healthy extra

Saturday gang of people to ours for dinner

Sunday meeting friends cinema and la Tasca in the evening hence why want to be really good in week and by doing those exercise bits water and scan bran will be able to not do too much damage on Saturday and Sunday

Sorry all thought I'd share it with you and if anyone wants to join me on the scan bran/ water/ 10 mins extra exercise then go for it

I mean any one of the above or all of them :-)

Long time lurker, first time poster here! Magic Bucks-I think the added one new veg thing is a great idea!! So often I just end up with a bit of overcooked broccoli as a token effort! Might try getting down the market and seeing what's available, much cheaper than the supermarkets too!

I have been naughty and off plan for 3 days as my car is off the road and i had little in, hardly any fruit and veg (nothing too drastic- was actually calorie counting and having about 1700 a day so not too tragic!) but am back on plan today and feeling good. Still only 10lb down but at least I am 10lb down!
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!

Good for you Peej1987 veg from market always lovely and definitely
    Cheaper too.

I'm looking for lots of ways to add veg into my diet as have never been a fan Maybe if Ben and Jerrys sold them I'd like them more :rotfl:

Made a huge quiche today with baby sweetcorn tomatoes whole courgette a red sweet pepper the long ones that look like overgrown chilli and whole onion made double the normal recipe.
    I reckon I could feed the 5000

Did the ten minutes on the stepper and the scan bran with bananas still got to drink a pint of water just done one
Oh the excitement I'm salivating like Pavlov's dogs at he thought of it :p

but change of plan for tea

Will still have salmon but can't face another stir fry so having salad with peppers spring onions radishes cucumber and some fat free dressing instead

Have a fab Sunday evening and here's to a great week to the whole thread
